At the current stage of Nigeria, there no way someone can survive on that kind of minimum wage. A very impossible task masked 🎭 as leverage from the government.

Nigerian government don't rate us at all. They see us as animals. Incapable of thinking for ourselves. Imagine a senator saying 10 thousand naira is enough for an individual. Like seriously. I wish I can remember his name. A very annoying statement. Even other senators too and governs are saying something similar and very bold saying this. We've been too quiet for long. This guy's are not moved again by what they say. They see us as weaker beings. We can do nothing. Do you know the pain families are going through. Something must be done to take our country back.

Inflation, another factor that keeps making the naira extensively weak. Still nothing will be done by the government to curb that and help the citizens. Everyone is after there own pockets. Nigeria is silently dying. Generations to come will suffer the consequences of our nonchalant attitude.

I bet you, if Nigerian politicians can be paid the same amount minimum wage amount they set for us. They will increase it or find a way to make that amount sustainable for a country like Nigeria. An insult to our faces.

So many ill decisions taken by the government that has us in this mess. The stealing and continuous looting of our resources, the over spending and over borrowing all contributing to inflation. Nigerians not speaking up is causing us more and more mess. Come on Nigerians. When are we actually going to say enough is enough.

Nigerians high increase in bitcoin investment is good. But majorly caused by the inflation we have in this country. Bitcoin has become a safe haven for long term investment. Edging against inflation. For that, I heavily praise Nigeria on the mindset that will eventually kick off on a new generation of wealth creation.

We as the youth of the country will be must affected and we are not doing anything about it. Not trying enough even if we are doing something about it. Andrew Tate said if you really tried your best. You actually tried your best. Then the universe will have no choice to grant onto you what you want. The key thing he said was really trying our best. We can do better as a country.

This I say will be hard. Anything that concerns Nigeria moving forward will only happen until the bad eggs are in heaven or hell. Any other effort for a better Nigeria while those people are still on earth will cause greater harm.

If they are place on the minimum wage, I think that still don't solve the problem because it doesn't mean anything to them, take for instance people that are working in Central Bank, nnpc and so many other big big places did not shout about this inflation because they are allowances for them here and there and that is why they don't feel anything. So now comparing the Staffs that I mentioned with the national assemblies members do you think it can change anything because they are any in many places, they are not solely depending on one source which is their salary, other allowances coming which are far far from bigger than their current salary. The people that are suffering this are people that are working in local government, state government and also some federal institutions then finally the masses.

The Nigerian government/politicians have mastered the act of manipulating Nigerians, and let's face it, Nigerians are not that hard to manipulate because we are easily impressed by minor things.
Buhari ruined this country and made it unbearable for people. The inflation rate was too much because of the way he handled (if you can call it that) the country, then he increased the minimum wage and people applauded him as if he had done something great.

Tinubu came and made the country an even hotter hell, then increased the minimum wage by over 100 percent and people applauded him. He would likely use that to campaign for reelection, and foolish Nigerians will vote for him again.

What difference would that do? Do they even care about their salaries? Have you seen the basic salary of the president, senators and the governors? They know that the money they steal is way more than their salary. Haven't you ever wondered why the presidential form is at N100 million while the annual salary is not up to N15 million? The governorship form is N50 million, while their annual salary is around 10 million. If you put them on minimum wage salaries, they would only steal more than they already do, which would make things worse.

You mean paying those politicians 70k being the minimum?, that's going to be impossible because they are the one who controls the money in the country, so actually even if it is stated the amount they pay them but that's just a show because there source of money is large. But although you actually make a sense so that they would experience what the minimum wages do on the people that receives it, even if it was kept in 100k is still not enough, actually a minimum wage should be something that when you take it home it feed the family even if you do not have discretionary from there.

I really don't understand what you mean by, what if politicians are placed on minimum wage, Because I understand that for every politician that is occupying one elected position or appointment is earning his money through minimum wage, it is from the minimum wage that their salaries are being calculated, so when you say what if politicians are placed on minimum wage, I wonder what you really mean. Every Senator, every Governor, every Minister, their salary is through minimum wage, it is only through allowances that they enjoy, that makes it look as though they are going with home with jumbo pay, but then if you cut down their allowances, you will literally see that they are being paid through the minimum wage of the government.

If we want to talk about minimum wage, how much is this minimum wage and to what effects does it has on the hard economy that the workers are facing currently?, minimum wage is just like a peanut that doesn't solve any needs in this present government and if you depend on it alone you will hardly survive, the increment of minimum wage is not effective because the economic policies of the government has made things so difficult that it's not enough to survive with.

Fuel price is what stabilizes the Nation in some ways because if the fuel price reduces the cost of goods and other inflation in the economy will drastically drop and the minimum wage will be effective in the system because you can buy whatever you want at a cheaper rate and still have some money left. 30k is not the minimum wage, the minimum wage is 70k. No politician will be placed on a minimum wage I don't even think that's done abroad so it's a wrong perspectives from you and even if they decide to placed them on minimum wage the level of embezzlement will be of a higher rate.
