Nah scam person supposed smell from a thousand miles and avoid. But you don talk am finish, say nah greed dey cause am, but am thing nah lack of common sense.

Sometimes it's not about common sense, it's because some people put money before common knowledge. It's one thing to learn Bitcoin from people or hear them talk about the good stuff and the profits some people have made but the important aspect is the security, how to avoid these mistakes is what you never see people discuss. It maybe for their own safer or perhaps some that spread this information don't even know anything about the how to avoid this mistakes.

We can say they are naive and dumb. Many people have not heard about this type of scam; trust me, some have heard, but unfortunately, greed and foolishness will not let them avoid it.

I am not surprised anymore if people still fall for this simple trick, because if thousands are still involved in ponzi scheme after MMM and all the rest dealt with them, then I still believe people will fall for this scam and every other scam we know of.

Well, obviously me I no be newbie for both crypto currency and this forum, so I definitely don hear and read alot about watch wallet scam, plus several other scam tactics wey plenty for outside both in local levels and international levels as well.
Na actually a very good thing say you bring this matter come this local board for the sake our new borns wey just enter crypto and also join this forum newly, I believe say those of them wey go see this thread will learn something new for sure.

The crypto ecosystem is filled with lots of scam activities, from developers wey dey build and launch fake scam projects, to those wey go run project half way con abadon am causing investors to lose money, to the actual scammer and hacker wey dey everything they can to gain access into our private wallet and steal money, every body for this space suppose to always be very careful, no dey click links any how, and try to read alot, because na by reading we get to learn some new things and possible new scam tactics, know all this early helps us not to ever be a victim to scammers.

Just imagine the kind of situation someone must be in before they end up typing out their wallet (seed phrase) and giving scammers the chance to steal from them. Deep down, they already know that a wallet seed phrase is the most important part of their wallet security and we know that it should never be shared with anybody. Whenever someone asks to type the seed phrase, you have to understand that there is a source of fraud here, that is why they are asking to type it in this way. If someone is not aware on his part, then it is natural that he will fall into such a cycle of fraud again and again and will be cheated.

Literally when people fall for things like this they use greed as an easy way to defy logic and in the end they lose their ability to tell they are on a route to being scammed.

Yes, I once saw a line while reading a novel story and it said, “Because of greed, people sometimes forget their present situation and stop thinking twice before doing risky things.” Even though the line was used in a tragic story, the message behind it is very true in real life too.
