Nope, the 24 words were enough. But they instantly sent me their newsletter.

It's been a long time since I last used blockchain.com wallet, but if I remember correctly, sometimes I had to click a link they sent me via email when trying to log in.

I think that's for an older wallet system, mine was "only" from 2015.

If I recall correctly, when I recovered my old "blockchain.info" wallet that consists of 17 phrases, using the seed alone did not lead me to the correct wallet; it also requested a Wallet ID, and providing a random Wallet ID led me to a different wallet with no funds.

Maybe they used the 7 additional words to recover the Wallet ID.

About that, since you know it's empty anyways, can you try it in their legacy mnemonic recovery page (archived feb-2026 page in my last reply)?

That page wasn't working on v3 mnemonic just a few months ago, but when I tried it recently, it works on my dummy v3 mnemonic.
It decoded the password and showed the login page containing my wallet ID which expectedly isn't linked to any wallet and email.
Yours however, should work but it'll probably require email verification.

Since it didn't result with an error, it shouldn't be an issue with the mnemonic.
Maybe it has something to do with non-loading javascript, have you disabled it in your browser?

If it's working, just entering the mnemonic and waiting for a few seconds should automatically decode it, no need to press Enter.

I tried 3 different browsers yesterday, and nothing worked. I tried again just now, and the Archived version works.

Yes but why do i have 12  seed phrases instead of 24 if my wallet is from the early 2014 and the other one from 2015?


I havent tested yet to import the seeds via their website as i have no good and secure envirmoment to feel confident enough yet.



In case i dont have the Wallet-ID,  but only the seed phrase and the wallet is secured with 2-auth ( email  ) and i have no access to the email, how can i recover it if it still asks for the email code even if i can proove to be the ultimate owner of the wallet having the seed phrase?


There is a tutorial on how to get the wallet file if having the wallet-id by itself.

Meaning if i download the wallet id and having the correct password to decrypt it, what can be extracted out of this wallet file? anything useful  to be imported to electrum?
