There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Wait, what? So I missed the 'fair distribution'? One weeks worth of distribution is fair? Are you serious?
Distribution started several weeks ago But this thread was created 9 days ago, how does 9 days = several weeks? I do hope I make it through as the coin does look good and I like the distribution idea, but distributing all coins in 2 weeks seems hardly fair. There are many active members on here that will not see this due to the sheer size of bitcointalk.org. I think 6 months would have made more sense. Anyway, here is to hoping I get into the second round as I am a active member of this community, nearly 3 years I have been here, with around 600 posts, so hopefully that is good enough . there was another thread which was closed because some guy who didn't get accepted ask the moderator to close the thread. Ahh ok, that makes more sense. In that case the coin does seem a lot more fair. I do wish it would run a little longer but it's much better than I initially figured. Hey @Chris180Z, apply by the form (its it ann post)
Thanks, I filled it out and followed all the instructions this morning .

Alright guys i asked the dev about the list and it appears it is out there. I see my username on the rejected list and cant do much about it but seeing how this community is working i still want to take part in this.
Ill try to buy some Comm coins as soon as i get some btc in about 2-3 days.
1-I have contacted 3 online shops and a gambling site and waiting on the answer. 2-I know the admin of a fiat-altcoin site which i will be contacting in the coming days as soon as there is enough noises about comm coin, they dont add just any alt coins but i have a good relationship with the admin so if there is enough noises in i can get comm in it.
If i got over heated in the previous pages its because i was part of the first thread and never received a single answer to where was the list but apparently it was posted by the DEV and i respect that.
I can also direct my 3mh rig to comm multipool once it is fully integrated.
If there is some kind of list for those who were rejected in the dev list to receive some coins please add me to it i'd appreciate.

Thanks, I filled it out and followed all the instructions this morning . I filled out the form and applied for coins on Saturday afternoon and the dev had them sent to me by Sunday night. If you meet his criteria and follow the directions you will get your stake, that's if the signup is still open. I'm actually pretty impressed with the spread of these coins because everything has been delivered as promised. I'm hoping for the best as I buy up the cheap coins floating around these exchanges

I've been advised to publicly share my experience with the community to prevent others from going through a similar experience. Last night I agreed to purchase 1 million COMM for 0.2 BTC from 'SANBASHIYI'. Having read very positive reviews from senior members who'd done business with SANBASHIYI I made the mistake of not using an escrow service. Everything went smoothly and SANBASHIYI even acknowledged receiving the funds. His last reply was "OK WAIT A MINUTE"...then he was gone. Transaction: https://blockchain.info/address/1L2GCsKRfzevQYAdXPJm9poaUERdZsSwQdThe unfortunate reality is that people are willing to sell their reputations and good name for what in the big picture is an insignificant amount. To minimize this loss I've asked Community Coin's developer if he would consider sending me SANBAYISHI's second round coins. Either way I've come away from this experience appreciating the culture of Community Coin so much more. It's experiences like this which make us 1000X stronger and wiser. Thanks for your comments laserfocus, even if it doesn't help with your problem, it will sure help others not to trust blindly to someone. We can still "hope" there were some problem with sanbashiyi and he will answer you soon, please keep us updated. Everyone considering trading should always consider escrow (not only for COMM but for all negotiation here in the forum). I can help in the process if anyone needs a escrow for COMM trades as I have already the wallets running, just send me a PM. Also maybe the multipool funds will be used to buy COMM outside the exchanges (directly from the sellers) as it helps both the multipool and the seller to reduce costs/increase margins. Adriano

There was a misunderstanding between you and the dev. As I saw you in FAC thread, you are really an active member and also do help for COMM. Personally, I hope you can get a stake and do more for our community. If not, I will personally donate some coins to you for your work as described here.

Bittrex and Poloniex are pretty reputable exchanges to me and I personally haven't had a problem with either one of them. That's where I have been doing my buying lately with this coin and coins that aren't on Mintpal or Cryptsy. Just dont leave any large amount on any exchange..... learn from the Cryptorush messed that happened earlier. I know I did.
