10 hours no coin mined. While yesterday i mined 6 times. Strange...
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Wait, what? So I missed the 'fair distribution'? One weeks worth of distribution is fair? Are you serious?

Distribution started several weeks ago

But this thread was created 9 days ago, how does 9 days = several weeks?

I do hope I make it through as the coin does look good and I like the distribution idea, but distributing all coins in 2 weeks seems hardly fair. There are many active members on here that will not see this due to the sheer size of bitcointalk.org. I think 6 months would have made more sense.

Anyway, here is to hoping I get into the second round as I am a active member of this community, nearly 3 years I have been here, with around 600 posts, so hopefully that is good enough Smiley.
there was another thread which was closed because some guy who didn't get accepted ask the moderator to close the thread.

Ahh ok, that makes more sense. In that case the coin does seem a lot more fair. I do wish it would run a little longer but it's much better than I initially figured.

Hey @Chris180Z,
apply by the form (its it ann post)

Thanks, I filled it out and followed all the instructions this morning Smiley.

If you want to communicate with dev, the contact person is samysamy1.

There is idea by Adriano to build a separate page for to-do information: listed items, involved people, donation addresses, donators etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Multipool- the most wanted thing at the moment.
IT HAPPENED WITH THE MUCH EFFORTS BY Adriano. MULTIPOOL IS OPENED FOR TESTING!
    Link: http://community.bitcoinland.org/multipool/

Many thanks to Adriano for hard work and enthusiasm! So far members pledged 715 000+ COMM for Multipool set up.
Everyone is welcomed to join the pledges list.
Also thanks to xtester for maintaining multipool's pledges list.
I would like kindly xtester to initiate donation process according to pledges list.

2. Website design and management.
jiuge made an alternative earlier before this thread begun to grow rapidly. Community must decide wether use it reworked, how it should be changed, etc.
    Link: www.community-coin.com

    Donations/pledges for website:
    xtester - 5 000
    mozurt - 10 000
    wasamata - 5 000
    Secondleo - 10 000
    JustLurkin - 5 000 - if gets stake

3. Subreddit page design work. Now it has default template design.
illiki23 offered his assistance for reddit page development.

4. Good quality youtube video for promotional purposes.
coinking suggested to make a song by himself. Community must decide wether compose it or not and what genre it should be.

    Donations/pledges for youtube video:
    brampower - 5 000
    DeviledMoon - 5 000
    wasamata - 3 000

    Donations/pledges for coinking's song:
    testadimerlo - 5 000
    mugwampbro - 1 000
    wasamata - 2 000

5. Articles about Communitycoin.
First article by jdebunt. Link: http://www.cryptoarticles.com/crypto-news/2014/4/14/communitycoin-pos-for-the-community-by-the-community
    Thank you!

6. Linux wallet..
Compiled for Ubuntu based Linux distributions by signorama. Thanks!
    Download link: https://mega.co.nz/#!RkQQgJRa!5RcwiUIzhVSH9lVOi49TbkeaD8ph_aDMwH6Z4M3YCBY
Please test it and leave a feedback.

    Donations/pledges for Linux wallet compilation:
    brightlight - 3 000

7. Updated logo, if dev accepts it's change.
mymenace made the first and by far the only alternative. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6121487#msg6121487

8. Not mandatory, but Android wallet could be a good point about coin. Also as promotional move.

    Donations/pledges for Android wallet:
    lumeire - 20 000
    wasamata - 10 000
    pabloangello - 10 000

    Donators for OSX wallet:
    brightlight - 20 000 - Sent

    mamamia2014 - 3 000 - Sent
    anonymous - 100 - Sent
    BTCMS - 10 000 - Sent

10. Faucets.
One developed buy Adriano. Thanks! http://community.bitcoinland.org/faucet/

----------------------------------------------------------------

As of now their non-specific purpose donations offered users:

Jr.peng - 10 000
BitcoinBaBa - 10 000

----------------------------------------------------------------

Don't forget to vote at Mintpal!

Please PM me if here is someone, who can undertake some of the listed duties or just make a post with suggestions.

Updated Donations/pledges for positions. If I missed something, give me a note.

Please, if you want to offer your donations, just post them (I am going through thread pages regularly) or better PM me. I'll update this post with your offer. In addition, if you have ideas what to add to to the list, also do not hesitate to give a feedback.

Count me in for 10 k, multipool
And Android wallet project I also very interested, I want to pledge 10K for Android wallet

Alright guys i asked the dev about the list and it appears it is out there.
I see my username on the rejected list and cant do much about it but seeing how this community is working i still want to take part in this.

Ill try to buy some Comm coins as soon as i get some btc in about 2-3 days.

1-I have contacted 3 online shops and a gambling site and waiting on the answer.
2-I know the admin of a fiat-altcoin site which i will be contacting in the coming days as soon as there is enough noises about comm coin, they dont add just any alt coins but i have a good relationship with the admin so if there is enough noises in i can get comm in it.

If i got over heated in the previous pages its because i was part of the first thread and never received a single answer to where was the list
but apparently it was posted by the DEV and i respect that.

I can also direct my 3mh rig to comm multipool once it is fully integrated.

If there is some kind of list for those who were rejected in the dev list to receive some coins please add me to it i'd appreciate.

I filled out the form and applied for coins on Saturday afternoon and the dev had them sent to me by Sunday night.  If you meet his criteria and follow the directions you will get your stake, that's if the signup is still open.  I'm actually pretty impressed with the spread of these coins because everything has been delivered as promised.  I'm hoping for the best as I buy up the cheap coins floating around these exchanges  Grin

I've been advised to publicly share my experience with the community to prevent others from going through a similar experience.

Last night I agreed to purchase 1 million COMM for 0.2 BTC from 'SANBASHIYI'.  Having read very positive reviews from senior members who'd done business with SANBASHIYI I made the mistake of not using an escrow service.  Everything went smoothly and SANBASHIYI even acknowledged receiving the funds.  His last reply was "OK WAIT A MINUTE"...then he was gone.

Transaction:
https://blockchain.info/address/1L2GCsKRfzevQYAdXPJm9poaUERdZsSwQd

The unfortunate reality is that people are willing to sell their reputations and good name for what in the big picture is an insignificant amount.

To minimize this loss I've asked Community Coin's developer if he would consider sending me SANBAYISHI's second round coins.  Either way I've come away from this experience appreciating the culture of Community Coin so much more.

It's experiences like this which make us 1000X stronger and wiser.

Thanks for your comments laserfocus, even if it doesn't help with your problem, it will sure help others not to trust blindly to someone.

We can still "hope" there were some problem with sanbashiyi and he will answer you soon, please keep us updated.

Everyone considering trading should always consider escrow (not only for COMM but for all negotiation here in the forum).

I can help in the process if anyone needs a escrow for COMM trades as I have already the wallets running, just send me a PM.

Also maybe the multipool funds will be used to buy COMM outside the exchanges (directly from the sellers) as it helps both the multipool and the seller to reduce costs/increase margins.

There was a misunderstanding between you and the dev.  As I saw you in FAC thread, you are really an active member and also do help for COMM.  Personally, I hope you can get a stake and do more for our community.  If not, I will personally donate some coins to you for your work as described here.

Bittrex and Poloniex are pretty reputable exchanges to me and I personally haven't had a problem with either one of them.  That's where I have been doing my buying lately with this coin and coins that aren't on Mintpal or Cryptsy.  Just dont leave any large amount on any exchange..... learn from the Cryptorush messed that happened earlier.  I know I did.
