I love the distribution of this coin. Will you check people's wallets when you distribute them the coins for round 2? And if they sent all of their coins to an exchange they will not get the second round? That would be great Cheesy
Grin

I placed some in an exchange to have access away from home, but could easily send them back to my wallet. It should be easy for anyone to prove they did not dump the coins if need be. If they did dump then I guess they better start buying back at whatever the cost Grin

On a serious note, I can't speak for the devs but it does seem they are taking great measures to weed out abusers. Round 2 should leave us with an even stronger community.

But why did you even placed them to an exchange?
The only reason, because you want be able to sell your coins as quick as you can when the price is rising?

Actually, some of us use exchanges for other reasons than dumping.

I have 90% of my coins in three exchange and only trade with a couple coins.  The rest are just in storage.

First it is convenient, I can access my wallets from any computer.  Not every coin has an online wallet service.

Second I just don't trust the computer I am using.  It is an old XP machine about to die on me.

You might be right for the most part, but there are other reasons people transfer coins to an exchange.

why not just copying the wallet.dat file to your trusted computer ?
(there is a another method to import a address into a preexisting wallet too...)
I don't know, keeping 90% of your coins on exchanges is REALLY risky.  I lost 2k Blackcoins on Cryptorush when they pulled their BS. which wasn't a lot at the time but now at BC's peak it was a good chunk of change.  I personally don't leave more than what I would care to lose or trade in the next couple days on exchanges now.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

MultiPool quick Stats

I have just checked and we haven't yet received any payouts.
There are 51 addresses created, not all of them are mining (I think probably many just tried it to see how it works)

I checked all the address on wafflepool and compiled the following table just to let everyone know how is the mining going after a few hours:

earned (not yet sent)0.01322058
expected (earned + unconverted)0.02842002
sent to you0.00000000
unconverted (approximate)0.01519944
Total Resultado0.05684004

Wafflepool is a very easy choice since they do not require an account to be created neither the payouts configured BUT they do charge 2% from every miner. I would recommend anyone willing to improve the profits to check http://WeMineALL.com or other similar options.

WeMineAll is from the same creators of WeMineLTC, they work with 0% fee and only ask anyone to configure a donation percentage (although it is not required).

As everything in life it also has its pros and cons, anyone willing to use these other options will need to create accounts and setup the miners accordingly (do not forget to setup auto-payout to be sent to the BTC address you got from our multipool).

Once again, thanks for everyone who donate COMM to me for the multipool, it was really nice to see all the transfers popping up all day long.

Adriano

Hi:

I hope i am eligible for round 2.

When I heard you will distribute the second round,I thought I need to apply for again.
So I use the same account and the same address apply again at http://communitycoin.info/apply/.
I don't want to cheat you to get the first free distribution again.

Thanks. Cheesy

I was told by coinpayments.net support that April 19th was the last day votes were being accepted for this public coin vote cycle. A vote cost you .001 BTC or about 50 cents (can also use LTC or DOGE) and requires you select a coin then send vote payment to their wallet address within 4 1/2 hours for vote to be recorded. Only 21 votes have been cast thus far so I think we can easily achieve this as a short term goal.

I'm glad to see the 2nd round distribution is begin.
So I wish I could join the Community in the 2nd round.

And let's continue to vote on Mintpal.
There is still a long way to go.
We need a lot of votes to landing Mintpal.

I am really looking forward to what COMM brings! I've just signed up for a share and hope I done everything correctly as I would really like to be involved!

I have noticed that while trying to download the newest wallet chrome completely blocks it from being downloaded. I had to use IE instead in case anyone else was having this problem.
