I don't think you've read the whole thread, and neither did you know that there was another thread for this coin that was closed. The first distribution took weeks and was intended for 1000 people. The dev was very strict to be able to have a real community instead of pumpers and dumpers.
Soon after people started complaining that it took very look, because it was difficult to reach the number of 1000 people . The dev put on a vote and the majority voted for around 500 stakeholders and that they should receive an additional million (excluding blacklisted people from the first round).

The form that you have probably filled in was for the waiting list. The dev will give people from the first round who were blacklisted a chance to appeal, than what's over will be send to others in the waiting list.

So I think you should be patient.

I'm still at a loss as to why there is such a push to get this coin on mintpal.  It seems like the only focus is getting on mintpal.  Getting on mintpal is not going to do anything for this coin.  The only thing that is going to help this coin is an acceptable outcome to the disposition of those 200 million coins.  

Instead of making posts about voting for mintpal, people should be making posts asking the dev on the status of the 200 million coins.  I'm not spreading fud i'm stating facts.  It seems that a majority of people in this community are so afraid of the dev that they are unwilling to ask the questions that they should be asking.  Everyone knows that 20% of this coin is unaccounted for.  You can get listed on mintpal, cryptsy, bter, etc... but this coin is going nowhere until the issue of those 200 million coins is resolved.  This community needs to stop living in fear of making the dev mad and start asking serious questions regarding the main issue that is keeping the value of this coin down.  

I'm done slamming this coin and i'm not spreading fud.  If the dev is unable to fix this issue then you need to get someone that can.  It's that simple.  This coin goes nowhere until that issue is resolved.  That is a fact and not fud.  

Here is the latest ranking on coinmarketcap.  There is only $ 6,918 volume in the last 24 hours and the majority of that is members of this community buying and selling to each other.

What a complete and utter farce this coin is. I signed up days ago to get my free coins and I am clearly an active member of this community, and now it looks like all coins have been given away. This doesn't seem like a fair community coin for me as most of the community were never given any coins.

You need to form a swarm team to demand answers from the dev.  The entire crypto community is aware of this coin and they are not buying it because of the shady suspicions regarding those 200 million coins.

We are sorry about this incident, and we want to sincerely apologize to the community. Since the wallet (private key) was erased, it is like this amount of coins was never mined. So total available coins will be 800 mils instead of 1000 mils for COMM. This is a good thing in a sense, that it will enhance our existing coin value. We publish the wallet so that everyone can see that this amount (196780608.602771 COMMs) will be dead in that wallet, that no one has access to them. These coins will never be circulated in the market.

With the coin reserves left, we will distribute 2nd round distribution, as promised.

As a community, we are going strong, and with about 800 mil coins in circulation, we will have a better value of our coin!

So delivery will be done according to same route and the remainder put into the bounty budget.

What is CommunityCoin?

CommunityCoin is a pure PoS coin. In the generation block (number 1) of the coin, 1 billion CommunityCoins are created. There will be no more PoW blocks that generate coins. The 1 billion coins will be distributed to 1000 individuals, (look at the voting here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=557589.0 )  1 million coins each  (may be more https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=557589.0 ) , according to the rules, completely free.

Anyone in the dev team will only get 1 part (1 million coins), like anyone else in the community. The dev team will get absolutely no more than a normal member. It is a truly zero-premined coin.

The coins will then grow through the generation of PoS blocks. The PoS blocks will be generated after the minimum 1 day of holding of the coins (determined by 'coin age')

How does this work?

We establish a community and each of the community members has an equal number of coins initially (1 million coins each)
We then work together and increase the utility, and therefore value, by different enhancement/marketing/promotions, as well as technical ideas and progress . Everyone should have a part to play, and varying skills to bring to the table.
Remember, it is your coin, it is my coin, it is the community coin. So if you want the coin to have a bright future, think of something creative and good for the coin!

Who is eligible to get free coins?

Those 200 million coins is the most pressing issue that this coin is facing.  Why is that so hard to understand?  This community needs to start demanding answers.  It's common sense that that issue needs to be resolved.  That should be 100% priority.  The more you promote this coin before that issue is resolved the more people  will become aware of those missing coins and walk away.  You do more harm to this coin by promoting it at this time.  

Resolve the 200 million coins to an acceptable outcome and then promote.  You have your priorities backwards.
