[FREE TOOL] NoFomoBTC — Bitcoin Converter, Analysis, Network & Learning Tools

The design of your website looks really good.  I like the tabs, the font, pretty much all of it.  It would be really nice if you also added a tab like 'Privacy Class' where you could learn about Bitcoin Privacy from lessons as simple as using Electrum through Tor to more advanced ones such as Coin Joins and other solutions.  Or a 'Security' tab where you go through a quick questionaire where it asks a few questions about what you are looking for and then lands you on the section of a page showing a particular type of setup such as Airgapped Computers with a guide about setting up one.  Then the user could scroll up or down to find more or less secure setups to their liking, in case the automated result was not enough.

Just my brain storming ideas.  Bonus points if you make the website work with no Java Script too.  Although that is a lot of work that would only bring a very limited amount of new visitors to it like me.  I could not visit the website as it does not load, probably due to my Tor circuit.  But looking through the screen shots I really like how it looks.  Well done.

Quick progress report:

Fixed this round (May take some while to update): donation addresses confirmed live, app icon redesigned (was a placeholder), Network tab caching so it stops hitting rate limits.

In progress: theme/Academy progress not saving between visits (real bug, tracked down), Calendar getting more event variety (ECB + BoE alongside the Fed), older halving events showing actual price data instead of "unavailable."

Queued next: wallets/mining/scam-recognition lessons (from @Pmalek), then Privacy Class and Security tab above.

Will post again once the in-progress list is live.

Thank you for this website, it's a truly great achievement. I browsed most of the site's tools and found many useful things, especially in the "Analysis" tab.

The website is simple and easy to use, and the layout of the chart elements and indicators is clear and familiar to traders. The contrast between the colored lines (moving averages) and the dark background is also good and helps to highlight price movements.

Having the option to switch between a "simple" and a "detailed" interface at the top right is a smart idea suitable for beginners and professionals, but frankly, I didn't see the full difference between the two interfaces.

The colored support and resistance zones in the background (horizontal bars in red and pale green) appear overlapping and somewhat blurry. It is preferable to reduce their opacity or make them appear only when the mouse is hovered to alleviate the visual clutter behind the underlying price curve.

Thank you for such a great positive feedback, we really tried to build something that helps trader by the scam of signal providers, I have seen people loosing alot by listening to those shit signal providers, I myself got lost money because of listening to them. That's why I tried to build this platform so I know what is happening in the world, should I enter or not.

And surely In the next update, we will try to incorporate your suggestions as welll

Quick note on what's coming next:

- Tap any candle on the chart to see what actually happened in that period, plain English. Most candles turn out to be nothing special, which is sort of the point.
- A calculator where you type in whatever return someone promised you ("1% a day guaranteed") and it shows you what that actually compounds to. The math does the arguing.
- New Academy lessons on wallets, mining, and spotting scams (thanks @Pmalek)
- Privacy Class + a security setup guide (thanks @PrivacyG)
- Fixing the theme and Academy progress not saving between visits, that one's a real bug, sorry.

Still no signals, still no predictions. Will post when things land.

Website and announcement thread here got a big update, new design, plus most of what people flagged in this thread is now fixed or in.

Genuinely, thankyou everyone who took the time to went through the website and tell me what was broken. Half the things on the changelog exist because someone here bothered to point them out, the dark mode contrast, the verdict being confusing, the progress not saving, the calendar being too US-heavy. None of that would've been caught by me alone.

Still looking for more. If something's confusing, ugly, or just wrong, say so. That's more useful to me than a compliment.

irfan, if you want (obviously you would), I can propose this topic to the AOBT for translation. We do a lot of voluntary translation, if it's worth the efforts.

And we are supposed to start proposing new topics from September (Right now, the gang is on a vacation ). If everything goes and and the topic gets accepted (usually it does when I do it ). You'll get 10+ translations!

You really did a great job, irfan bhai. Honestly speaking, I don't see any room for improvements or anything. Everything is already so well organized and categorized with detailed explanation. Although there is this one thing I was hoping you could add. Since everything here is related to crypto and you basically added almost everything, why not add a section that contains every possible method/technique of crypto scams/exploits, what actually it is, how it works, how it's spread, and how to prevent it. For starters, you can source these methods from here ([General] Crypto scams, attacks and malware), then compile them into a list, with detailed explanation and everything.

Maybe this new section can be named as "Crypto Scams/Exploits & Prevention".

What a great timing! A moment ago, I was talking about DCA in my local section saying that I could never DCA properly. Every time I DCA, it's like saving everything for 2-3 weeks and then spending. So can you add a portfolio manager along with a DCA manager (all data stored locally in browser), that calculates everything automatically?

Like for example, I have been buying $100 every week (for 3 weeks), but for the 4th week I had to sell a small portion, say $50. Then from 5th and so one, I kept buying. I tried as much as I could to DCA, but these small selling still happened from time to time. You understand the situation right? Life happens, we don't have control over that. Now with these factors in mind, the tool will give me an overview of my overall DCA progress.

Well, I'm certainly not the most experienced here, nor do I DCA like how it needs to be done (the reason is obvious), or have the big bucks for it. The small amount I earn, I try to DCA it, but still, I spend it from time to time. So I can't really tell whether it can be considered as DCA or just a person saving his earnings and spending a little of it from time to time. You get what I mean, right? My point is we'll need more user on this, the more the feedbacks, the more we understands what users actually wants/needs.

I think both stats are valuable. It gives a complete overview/pattern of my DCA strategy/activity. Maybe include a graph too, time, price, amount etc!

Local storage, that's fine by me.
