It's necessary to briefly analyze Bitcoin security notice, expecially for beginners, not just beginners,
It serves as a reminder to every individual and investors because no body is above mistakes which is common.
Most times Alot of people has fall victims of scam before they are not fully enlightened about Bitcoin security, not knowing that Bitcoin transactions are irreversible.

Here I will like to highlight some steps to fellow to be of the safer side.
1. Ensure you protect your Bitcoin very well, protecting your Bitcoin simplily means cross- checking wallet before sending funds to the wrong wallet address.

2. Don't share your seed phrase with anyone because it's your personal phrase .

3. Ensure you store backup phrases offline not online to avoid someone copying it.

4.Always recheck wallet address before sending funds to the wallet, because it's irreversible.

5. Avoid links from unccessary agent using Whatsapp platforms or telegram to share, try to detect.

6. Your devices should always be updated regularly.

7. Try to detect lesser transactions before sending larger amounts

There are some Common Crypto Scams scammers use as well which most people fall into which are:
Pressuring to act quickly
Telling you to send your seed phrase
Telling you to invest to earn more urgently etc.

In conclusion one needs to be extremely careful
Have a strong and good passwords
Backup your wallet offline and update your app regularly and always cross check before sending funds.

Good suggestion, but we have to be careful with this.

A few years ago, I became a victim of a fake update. It happened with my Electrum desktop wallet. I saw a prompt saying I should update, and since I trusted the app, I just clicked it. It redirected me to a website, and I did not know it was fake because the app itself had already been compromised.

What happened after that was painful. All my funds were lost. Even when I typed the correct address, the transaction still went to the wrong one.

So for me, updates are important, but we should never just click anything from a pop-up. Better to go directly to the official website, verify the source, and be very careful before installing anything, especially when it involves crypto wallets.

That's a huge mistake, that's why always make a practice of double checking the wallet address first and last characters before sending money. As for the update, yes checking the official website url is also a must before installing anything even it's just an update , that's how i never experience such incident yet. I hope you learned your lessons from those mistakes.

The cryptography is very much a technical and risky technological system that's protected but having loopholes that if the crypto wallet owners aren't careful on handling their private keys it could becomes a center of attractions with possibilities that third parties can get reach to their recovery to steal their funds.
With the blockchain being decentralized and every successful transactions being irreversible, it's also required that when making crypto transactions the wallet address receiving the funds should be confirmed very proceeding so that mistakes of sending the funds to the wrong wallet address won't occur.
This is a very vital tips for newbies to keep them to handle their wallets securities effectively and to the safeness of their funds.

Talking about security is overwhelming with many people but of course security is not only important but also vital for many people especially who have bitcoin and have to use Bitcoin wallets for storage of their coins.

It's really worth to read and learn about security, then have better security practice for devices, accounts, and non custodial wallets.

As a general notice, it is very fanny for me to encounter posts from a very short time account like the OP’s giving security‑related advice.

Regarding updates, you are right. The only reason to rush them is when the update includes fixes for known security vulnerabilities. If it doesn’t mention anything like that, then the best policy is to wait a couple of weeks and see the feedback, because new update may introduce new issues.

1. Ensure you protect your Bitcoin very well, protecting your Bitcoin simplily means cross- checking wallet before sending funds to the wrong wallet address.
You probably meant address checking, not wallet checking, right?

2. Don't share your seed phrase with anyone because it's your personal phrase .
And if I am ready to share seed-phrase, for example, with my heirs, then what should I do?

3. Ensure you store backup phrases offline not online to avoid someone copying it.
Offline, if someone discovers seed-phrase, no one will be able to copy it?

Offline mode also has its advantages and disadvantages. There's no perfect storage method.

4.Always recheck wallet address before sending funds to the wallet, because it's irreversible.
The first few characters and the last 3 digits? Smiley

5. Avoid links from unccessary agent using Whatsapp platforms or telegram to share, try to detect.
For any operations with cryptocurrencies, it is safer to use a separate PC\laptop or OS.

6. Your devices should always be updated regularly.
For example, hardware wallets? What if the update contains a critical bug?

It's best to wait a while after the update releases to allow the developers to fix any potential bugs.

7. Try to detect lesser transactions before sending larger amounts
Can also split a large amount into several transactions and send them sequentially at intervals.
