Pizza Theme: Time is bitcoin
This is the second time I'm participating in this tasty day that we celebrate every year here on Bitcointalk.org.
First of all, thank you to the organizers and everyone who puts in the effort to make this event successful year after year.
This time, I promised myself that no matter what happened, I would participate. So at 10 PM, my wife and I started working on the pizza. By the time we finished everything, took the final photos, and cleaned up, it was already 2 AM.
Cutting those small BTC logos took a lot of time. First, I experimented with paper, then butter paper, and even tried making a small BTC-shaped cutter from a soft drink can, but none of those methods worked as expected. In the end, I put the cheese in the fridge for a while to make it firmer and carefully cut the logos using a paper cutter.
The large BTC logo was much easier. I first drew it on butter paper, cut out the template, and then traced the outline onto the cheese before cutting it.
Taking the final photos was another challenge and took much longer than I expected.
One more thing: I wanted to include my Golden Bitcoin Coin that I received last year at the Bitcoin MENA 2025 Conference. Unfortunately, I had no idea where I had put it. So in the middle of the night, my wife and I were searching for it in the kids' room using our phone flashlights. We didn't want to make any noise because our Pizza Day mission would have failed miserably if the kids had woken up. Fortunately, I finally found it inside one of the toy boxes and messed up with Play-Doh.
I originally wanted to write "TIME IS BITCOIN" on the pizza as well, but by that point it was getting very late and we were completely exhausted.
Once again, thank you to Bitcointalk.org for creating such a memorable event. It has become something that my entire family looks forward to every year.
