Hi all,

HackMe has been moving from “a network you mine” toward a wider ecosystem: useful-compute chain (HMC), pool, Dig/Hunt audit flow, soft-launch spot desk (HMC/SUP), companion assets, and more surface area every month.

We’re also seeing more people and authors show up — which is exactly what we want.

If you’re interested in the product, you don’t need a formal title to matter here.
Want to participate, propose a direction, or contribute? We’re open — and we do notice real interest.

That includes (not limited to):
• new integrations with other tools / chains / workflows
• new product branches and subsystems
• research tooling, scanners, rails, UX that unlocks the stack
• ideas for new assets / lanes that belong in the HackMe ecosystem

Practical paths:
• GitHub issues for ideas and design discussion
• Pull requests when the work is complete and product-fit
• Security reports privately (please don’t drop exploits in-thread)

Hey everyone — quick update on the existing thread.

HackMe is now on **0.1.0-rc17.4**.

What’s important for miners:
• Blake3 PoH activates at height **#485000** (was 500000). Tip is already ~479k — please update `workerpoh` / installers before the gate.
• Soft pool stays **attempt-pay**. Verified pseudo-shares (M/1024) are for stats/rate checks for now — not a payout surprise.
• Settlement fix shipped: HMC export no longer rolls back `settled_sup`.
• **HackMe OS ISO** is published (Win/Linux bundles too). Always verify SHA256SUMS / SHA256SUMS-iso.

After Blake3, reported GH/s will drop hard (~100–200×). That’s expected (real hash vs algebraic). Pool M retargets down.

Same project, same pool — just a mandatory miner update before #485k. Questions welcome.

Hello miners,

Quick status update from the HackMe pool.

As of tip ≥ 485000, the Blake3 PoH formula is live. Work is now blake3_v3(prev ‖ miner ‖ nonce_le) % M == 0 instead of the pre-gate algebraic eval_v1. Soft pool payout remains attempt-pay by default: verified share nonces are observability / rate-check stats until a later strict share-pay mode. Dig and Hunt escrow leases continue to run alongside PoH mining.

You will notice a sharp drop in reported GH/s. That is expected. Pre-cliff hybrid calibration numbers (often tens–hundreds of GH/s per GPU) were algebraic throughput; Blake3 wall-timed PoW sits in a much lower class (~few GH/s across the live fleet today). Coordinators and dashboards should show blake3_pow_ghs / wall-rate — not stale hybrid calib.

Roadmap note (not a promise of live params): an economics v2 RFC is in the works covering emission schedule lock, directing a pool cut from emission, and burns on paid orders. Treat that as design discussion until it is consensus-locked.

On exchanges: HackMe runs its own paper soft-launch spot desk (D0) with a public tickers API and a listing package for partners. That is not the same as a listing on Binance or other foreign CEX — we are not claiming those.

Questions welcome in the thread.
