This forum has truly lost its way. It’s no longer what it used to be. I see more issues with it now than ever before, and it’s only getting worse. Perhaps only 20% of it is worth saving. That’s being generous. In my view, the remaining 80% has devolved into a cesspool. Its hierarchy has solidified, dominated by opinionated, self-righteous Bitcoin millionaires. The billionaires departed for good reason. There’s hardly any innovation or inspiration left. It’s soul-crushing to see Satoshi’s forum reduced to this. I’m one of a long list of members who’ve come to this realization after investing years of their lives here. When genuine newcomers arrive here, they are excited to learn and contribute, but after years of contributing, they find out that they will never be accepted inside the inner circles. They realize that they are only allowed to be followers or used as bags for the circle.

They're called "inner circles" for a reason. Why does everyone want to be in others? Make your own.

Every time I ask a question on forum it gets answered, even when it is one they've probably answered 100's of times ad nauseum.

You may have made a great observation but I feel you failed to accept or realize something and that's the fact that this is a public space an like most spaces like this, information gets stale, there's the regurgitation of information and if you observe it with blogs, you'd notice that the news they share aren't always true or legit, but they do it either way so they can generate traffic on their pages. Also, there's always the hierarchy you talked about and in this space it's no different but there are still people who take their time to give out quality information and if it's the "clique" that has got you bothered, you can just form yours as _Miracle suggested.
We shouldn't get too bothered that the forum is slowly losing its uniqueness and style, if it where a body part you're always making use of I bet you, it won't remain the way it used to be so, just take what you're seeing, do the best you can do and move on.

I have been doing some Bitcoin related research lately for the first time in a decade or so.  I must say that the 2012-2014 era really was kind of a golden period for Bitcoin on this forum in terms of activity and innovation.  So many old names which I had respect for and who are now gone.

For my part, I sort of got burned out over the blocksize attack period where I put in a fair bit of effort, and move over to shit-posting on the non-BTC related parts of this forum (this forum being less prone to censorship and my not using any other social media tonics.)  I wonder how many others did the same?

People are already fighting back - it just takes time. Satoshi's forum died over a decade ago, but everyone grieves at their own pace.

OP - the bold part hit home with me.  Theymos sent me unsolicited PMs many years ago to convince me of his neutrality.  That lie kept me involved until recently when another lie and betrayal stripped me of the trust I earned through a decade of consistency and truth. I can't even find blame in those who distrusted me - in a world without evidence I would be forced to trust Theymos as well.
