I know this may not be granted, but I just want to give it a try.

I know that NFTs, AI and meme coins boards are not created. They are not just different from the altcoins, but what is the lastest are the RWA.

RWA tokens are tokenized traditional assets on the blockchain like ethereum solana, polygon, ondo and few other blockchains. Gold, silver, few other precious metals, metals like copper, lead, zinc, stocks like crcl that belongs to circle, Strategy mstr, Google alphabet stock, apple stock are now having tokens which are also tradable on crypto exchanges.

Can we have a board for the RWA tokens under the altcoins section?

It's pretty easy to request for sub boards and I'm not saying you are making a bad idea though but the big question is will the board remain active? There are a couple of boards scattered across the forum that are barely active and many members barely even aware that they even exist.

First before you apply that a new board be created we need to see alot of posts coming based on that discussion and that will prompt the administrators to consider making it a sub board else the chances are very slim. If you check you'll notice it's pretty much the consideration before new boards were added.

It will be the same as proposal for creating a NFT, Metaverse board. Honestly with spamming in altcoin boards, it's harder to convince theymos and Cyrus to create a new child board for altcoin discussions.

Altcoin industry is very trendy in a negative way, each market cycle, each bull run, there will be new trends and most of altcoins created in a new trend will die months later or after that cycle ends with a bear market. After RWA trend, what will be next ones, and will there be other proposals for other boards in Altcoin discussions?

Those metals and stocks listed above are not Altcoins, so they could simply have a board or childboard.

As per your question which theymos get's to decide, my little contribution is that while it is a thoughtful suggestion, it is basically not a prompt action to take yet, considering the activities on that particular section, the front page of the Altcoin boards hardly gets topics related to that that section, you can see a few of them, about two or three threads, and they don't make up most parts of the Altcoin board, they can evenly coexist in the altcoin board.

Those metals and stocks listed above are not Altcoins, so they could simply have a board or childboard.

Isn't a board too big for RWA discussions? We have relatively low discussions on such topics, separating the boards can cause very low activities on those section after separation, allowing all of them coexist actually brings much interaction to the altcoin section and reason the board remains active.

There are more good posters on the bitcoin boards, but there are more posts and spam also on bitcoin boards. I have seen many good posts on altcoins boards also.

It is just like USDT that is backed by United States dollars. Yes, but not the actual stock, but their tokenized form. If you want to expose yourself to the actual stock on crypto exchanges, go for TradeFi. TradeFi also has closing hours, so it is more of traditional market, but for trading. Many exchanges are having TradeFi now.

I'm trying to tell you about another rule, where you have to do some things as I quoted below, if you want there to be a part of the soup-RWA Token Board or similar.

Bitcointalk does not allow regular users to create entirely new sub-boards or sections. New boards are only created by the forum administrator (theymos) based on community consensus, high demand, and proven activity.

How to Request a New BoardIf there is a topic you believe deserves its own dedicated section (like a new cryptocurrency or a specialized category), follow this procedure:

1. Start a Discussion in Meta: Go to the Meta Board to pitch your idea to the community.

2. Gauge Community Interest: The community will discuss the need for the board and typically hold a community poll/vote.

3. Admin Approval: If there is high demand and enough activity to sustain the new board, moderators will present the request to the administrator for final implementation.

For that you have done what is in the quote above.
Now you need to wait for some points, community consensus about RWA Token, high demand about RWA Token and you have to prove that the activity is proven safe, Therefore, if one of the points above is not met, the Bitcointalk forum administrator may not approve your request, just wait for developments.

If it is just like USDT backed by US dollar, that means they'll always have the same value. It is absolutely fine. Why will I want to expose myself to the real stock if I can deal with the tokenized form.
I am not from US and I don't use US dollar but I have USDT in my wallet, so I can say that I have dollars. If it's same scenario, it's actually a good development.

I like RWA and I do own some tether gold.

But RWA aren't so relevant yet. Only tether gold and papos good are in top100.

They are jsut a few and very small ones. They still fit in altcoins board

If we cannot achieve having boards for NFT, AI and the memecoins as you have mentioned, then I don't see why real world assets should be given consideration over this altcoins I've just mentioned, it is better that they are all well fitted on the same altcoin board or the altcoins speculations board, I don't see any reason why RWA should separately be considered for a board, they should all be treated under the same section as I suggested in my opinion.

I guess many after seeing cryotocurrency are going into tokenization
But it hasn't gotten much fruition yet
And believe if created this early
Might turn to a ghost board easily.
From my own limited POV, I believe it's too young to create a sub board for them.

1. They are still considered tokens, and there is a board for them. ----> Tokens (Altcoins)

2. It wouldn't make sense to create a board for a specific token type where we might barely get 10 threads of RWA assets per month and, worse, way less engagement. Just check what is happening in the Tokens (altcoins) board, and you will notice something. There are no replies in most threads/announcements.
For a board to even be considered, there has to be very high engagement and demand.

Here it is, they already have the board: Tokens. RWA is just one of several known altcoin protocols. I'm also confused about the topic of altcoin trading, which sometimes strays into the Trading discussion section. This forum still applies some leniency to clearly written descriptions.

Discussion about doing business with Bitcoin. Best trading practices, delivery methods, etc.
