Honestly not that surprised... been seeing this coming for a while now but 2025-2026 really pushed things forward. More and more bookmaking and gambling platforms are integrating crypto payments, and not just for show — actual BTC deposits and withdrawals, sometimes faster and cheaper than anything traditional banking can offer depending on where you are.
Makes sense when you think about it. Big part of their userbase is already in regions where banking is slow or just not accessible. Bitcoin solves that naturally without the platform having to deal with 10 different local payment providers.
Lot of platforms are not benefiting from the existence of Bitcoin because it is being used as a payment medium in their services rendered, this is also one of the reason why we can see a multifaceted applicable use case of Bitcoin, while many users can also appreciate using its for gambling purpose since it has been supported by many casinos.
