Our society keep changing and adopting some things in different ways from what it's before now, I will emphatically state my experience as what begging was perceived in the past decade but today different narrative, when people beg either on street or any other means those who beg where seen as one who are in lack and needs help, either as disability or one issue that may be known to them but today some ethnic has make it a hobby while some youth sees it as quick measure to get their daily bread all depends on the environment one is residing, beginning now is job, profesion their tune and manner they present themselves make you feel it's a profession, I will agree with been a profession to a length because a healthy youth without being disabled is meant to work but to abandoned such pursuit and focus in begging make it a profession for such person, but that is not a yardstick to render help to those who need it , it just a matter of people see opportunity on things of such nature and trying to take advantage of it, naturally it a way of helping the needy not to be perceived as profession.

The idea behind begging has been messed up by the lazy people who have no ailments or health challenges of any kind who go into begging as a means of survival perhaps a profession. This rise in healthy beggers have made it difficult to identify real beggers because everyone now sees all beggars as the same.

Begging and receiving is not bad when it is genuine, people still help regardless. But in some societies where these fake beggars are greater in numbers, it hinders the real beggars from receiving the level of attention they could have been receiving if they were all genuine beggars. I have decided to minimise how often I give to beggars because most times you notice someone who uses same patterns at different locations to extort money in the guise of a disabled when there's actually nothing wrong with him.

There is money in begging now most of those you see begging without been handicap or disabled has already seen that there is alot of money in begging so they decided to make it as a professional work for themselves. There is nothing wrong if someone is stranded and decided to look for an assistance or maybe someone is sick and seriously need donation to help pay for the hospital bills or maybe you are disabled, but when you are fine, healthy and not disabled and you are begging on the street and making it a habit that's where it's wrong for me i don't give such people my money, even some disabled people now has something doing that keep foods on their table so why do i have to encourage someone who is fine to continue begging by giving him or her money.
Begging is a profession in case you don't know.  We have professional beggars and they earn lots of money from it. Many people beg to earn a living and to feed their families. There are people who recruit and train people to be professional beggars. After they are trained, then they are being sent to the streets to beg and then give certain amount of money to the company as dialy returns while they Keep the rest.

If you go to Europe and America, some beggars make more money than people who work in big companies. many people looks down on beggars because they assume they are extremely poor people, but they don't know that most of them have money more than they do, in as much as begging doesn't seems decent to the public, people are still surviving through it.  So don't underestimate some of these beggars that you give arms to on the streets as they may be millionaires in disguise.
