Exactly, at least you get it. Many of the people on this forum are so uneducated, they act surprised by all sorts of shit that has existed for decades. Nothing about this case is new, nothing about the method of hacking is new, and nothing at all is new about it simply because it happens on a new platform. To the other idiots, stop shitposting:
You are the idiot for believing that anyone who visits this Forum implicitly has to know details about particular social engineering attacks. Excluding the people who write a post particularly for Signature Campaign post counts for obvious reasons, a lot of people visiting do not have any ADVANCED knowledge about technology. This is like someone talking you down for acting surprised that a particular pest attacked your apple tree, you idiot, how did you not know, the pest has been around for longer than you exist!
Complain about them downloading all kinds of unknown files and opening them up, that is like picking up things off the floor in the middle of Times Square and licking them to later be surprised by an Emergency Room visit.
