Op, I think you mixed some facts up and thereby rendering them invalid. Some of your statements or assumptions are 50% true and 50% misrepresented. See these;

• If you only admire bitcoin, or simply not against bitcoin but you don't use it and you don't hold it, you are not a bitcoiner
  
• If you hold bitcoin or short or long time, you are a bitcoiner
  
• If you trade bitcoin like a day trader, you are a bitcoin trader
  
• If you own bitcoin before but sold all, you are no longer a bitcoiner
  
• I think you should be holding bitcoin either for a short term or long term to be called a bitcoiner.

IMHO, these are all subjective to what each individual believes. Someone who holds a bitcoin can be a believer but doesn't believe in holding it forever. And that's okay because the goal is to make some profit and that's what everyone does. There's a specific period of how long until we're going to hold and then will make a sale. Those who are only believing in it and yet, they're not invested. There's a reason for that, what if they don't have the means for now to invest because of money but sooner and later, they'll start investing when they're able?

Being a Bitcoiner is as simple as believing in Bitcoin,
You don't have to invest, you don't have to hold,

But as someone who believes in Bitcoin and its potentials, it is sensible that you should also invest, there for anyone who doesn't invest in Bitcoin after a while of believing it, doesn't truly believe in Bitcoin, you talking about Bitcoin is just cap, so I don't consider those sets of people as Bitcoiners

There are those who still believe in bitcoin but do not make the initiative to finally start investing in bitcoin, for me that does not count being a bitcoiner.

One can only be a bitcoiner if he is actually in the process of acquiring and hodling bitcoin for long term because he trusts bitcoin and is willing to take high risk just to fill in his bitcoin portfolio. He sees bitcoin as a reliable long-term asset so he needs to secure his bitcoin in his wallet for long term goal.

While believing is that easy, but trusting bitcoin even at its deepest price but still find the courage to sustain it is what makes a real bitcoiner.

You could see a bitcoiner as someone who has become part of the network, work for the interest of Bitcoin, is loyal to all the good ideals/rules of Bitcoin, and always ready to defend them.

Merely owning/using Bitcoin doesn't really qualify one as a bitcoiner just as owning/using US dollar or American companies/infrastructures doesn't make one an American.
You need to become part of the system by adhering to its good ideals and contributing positively to it.

By the way, you could be a bitcoiner without owning bitcoin just as you can't be stripped off your American citizenship for not having US dollar,  but could lose the citizenship for being a traitor or going against the national ideals

I personally think that it doesn't really matter whether someone is a bitcoiner or not.
The main thing in my opinion is how much they can actually take advantage of the positive qualities of Bitcoin, such as decentralized ecosystem, financial freedom, and inflation less asset.

The main goal here is not to justify each other, but Satoshi Nakamoto did not create Bitcoin to determine who would be a bitcoiner or not. He has basically established financial freedom with Bitcoin in a universal way.

You don't need to hold Bitcoin in order to be a "Bitcoiner" - no doubt about it, in my opinion. If you were to use the same logic for countless other things, it'd sound even more goofy.

"If you don't hold milk, then you aren't a milker."

"If you don't hold oil, then you aren't an oiler-user-believer."

Or in the converse (?): "If you hold fiat, then you believe in and trust in fiat policy."
