I cum across people dey argue on percentage them suppose share for their investment but one person say na him bring the idea and na him also get exchange account say na him suppose collect higher amount pass person wey bring some part of the money to the investment.

I wan know if you people bring money equally to make investments na who suppose collect higher or them suppose share am equally?

For me the money suppose dey shared equally because their investment was 50/50 irrespective say na one person bring the idea or even get the exchange where them carry do the investment.

E no really make sense, and this sounds fictional sef cos why….weyin be bring idea about bitcoin investment? You can purchase or invest with no matter how small the amount you have is, so it’s completely abnormal to say people join money do investment especially if it not a physical investment like real estate that might require huge capital.

It depends on their agreement, but the profit supposed to be according to the percentage that individual invested. If it is 50 : 50 that they invested, the profit share supposed to be 50 : 50. But what they previously agreed on is also worth considering.

This is very wrong approach to do because one of them could be greedy of having the lion share among both of them, but if there a concrete agreement that binds both of them such as a legal agreement between both of them then they can share it according to how it was previously agreed between both of them.

But I wouldn't for any day encourage any one out there to go into agreement on such investment.

I go like ask which investment dem do before I begin share my opinion. E fit be say na trading dem join money do based on how you take narrate am. Normally, e dey bad to join head do any type of investment unless na with person wey you trust well well. If na crypto investment, trust no really mean anything, just do it alone or leave it if you can't do it alone.

As this case be now, both of dem don loose guard made first biggest mistake by agreeing to invest together. The second mistake is failing to arrange the sharing formula if they wan terminate their investment. If dem designed sharing formula based on wetin each of them contribute before investment, they are likely not to have this problem now arguing like two mad man.

If na me go judge the case, I go first let them know say na very wrong thing to invest together but since e don already happen, there's nothing much we can do about it. If na the same amount dem bring to the table, that should be 50/50 by default but the owner of the exchange account bear the risk if something had happened to the money under his care. If to say dem hack his account and all the money disappear, the other person go say nothing concern am with that one make him provide his money for him. For that reason, I will ask the other guy to at least give 3% to the owner of the account to make 53/47 and case close.

Even for normal contribution wey people dey do, in most cases, the person wey dey keep the money dey take a few percentage because of risk wey dey involved. Make I use style call am maintenance fee.

If there's a mutual or legal backing like Micro strategy that functions aa a "cooperate Bitcoin treasury" then it's okay, cause it could be stored in a Multi-Sig wallet whereby more than one person has to sign before any funds should be moved from the wallet. With that withdraw would based on agreement from all parties involved.
 But then I understand why you said it not advisable in a case where it not legally back to avoid future issues that would lead to lose from one parties ends cause there was no legal agreement.

I also don't see it as something wise to join money together to make an investment, but if anyone consider it as there option then sharing should not be a problem if there are reasonable people.
I actually believe sharing should not be a problem because everything should be discussed and agreed upon before putting the money into that investment, to even be more concrete the agreement should be put into legal writing or any form of legal note proving that this is what was agreed on.

One person fit cheat the other, except them get legal agreement which most times, many no dey do.. this now go fit result to disagreement or conflicts. So for me, I no go advice such.
