Why is it that most millionaires or billionaires come from businesses? I rarely see someone who made immense wealth through being an employee under a company. Most people get employed, save up, invest in businesses and get rich. But no one actually becomes untouchable rich just by being an employee. What are the reasons for this?
I’m sure the personal assistants of the world’s wealthiest people are also among the very wealthy when measured by their net worth. but I understand that you’re probably referring more to a general picture rather than specific employees who do earn fantastic salaries, such as those working at giant corporations, whether as heads of marketing or in other high-paying roles, who are undoubtedly very wealthy. perhaps what you mean is that those who are always the wealthiest are business owners, not employees. No matter how wealthy an employee is, their boss is certainly wealthier. The reason is simple. Employees have a fixed salary, whereas a business can continue to grow and generate more revenue with every new development. It’s quite straightforward.

You can become rich while working for a living, but the chances of such a successful path are very slim. In addition to a steady job and skills, you need a few lucky breaks with friends and connections. You need the type of personality where your career means everything, and social connections are of no value. Such people climb the career ladder the easiest; it's called "stepping over others." I know people who, starting from their student days, have reached positions earning $5,000, and you'll agree that business is uninteresting when you can earn that much.

But I think that without connections and bribes, practically no one can make it this far. I've met so many such individuals—they were always someone's children, whose influential fathers arranged for them to work for them, even though the candidates were much better than these dishonest assholes. When I was just starting out in my career, I even encountered this personally at times, and it always really infuriated me. After all, I had a unique experience, but employers promoted people whose parents were bosses. But you know what? There is justice in this world, and I want to say that these slackers couldn't handle the workload they were given.

In the country where I live now, small businesses are living through very difficult times. The fact is that there used to be a lot of small shops made by small private entrepreneurs. But over time, marketplaces appeared that had the same products, but with delivery and a cheap price, because their sellers did not need to rent a room. And they completely eliminated the small street shops. So, now there are a lot of commissions on marketplaces, both within these sites and from the government. And now I've seen shorts, as these sellers on marketplaces cry because their business has become unprofitable.

Not everyone that gets into business ends up becoming successful or have an a large resource like the billionaires you have in mind, some people do business and it only keeps them surviving and not really giving them a huge amount of money that makes them rich. The economy is one factor that makes a lot of businesses go through difficulties. We cannot just use the accomplishments of a few people to make a general assumption. Some businesses are suffering and a lot of business owners under harsh economic conditions wish they were employed.

An employee of a company works for a fixed salary. The people who run that company have special qualities to earn money, so they can improve their financial situation by doing business/Investment. A person does not become a big investor in a day, they have a long term effort. They acquire skills and manage themselves with discipline, gradually increase their capital and earn profit from it. An employee can also become a rich investor if they have those special qualities. As we regularly discuss in the forum, you can improve your financial situation by following long term accumulation strategies. In the case of Bitcoin accumulation we give such advice to small investors. No matter what your income is, if you can accumulate Bitcoin regularly through discretionary income, you can establish a capital with long term efforts and become a millionaire or billionaire.

I do not know the level of wealth you are talking about, but if you mean the richest men in the world, then that level of wealth comes only through innovation or monopoly. To become that wealthy, you have to create something new that solves problems for people around the world, or you run a business with little to no competitors (this one happens mostly in third world countries). That said, there are a lot of rich employees. People who work in large corporations and hold high positions make a lot of money, more than you can imagine. A good example is the CEO of Boeing, Robert Kelly, do you wanna guess how much he is paid?

I would rather prefer to be a business owner than to be an employee working under someone, because in business, that's where a good fortune lise, you will be the master of your own business without being controlled by anyone. You will have some free good time, which will give you the insight to think well and develop yourself properly in a good way.
But when you are working under someone, your boss will be the one to have control of every of your activities. Unlike before when you are an employee you will have your own free time, build houses, and travel where you want. But due to the economic situation now all these opportunities have failed away.

Don't say no one can become rich by being an employee because Sundar Pichai's net worth is over $1 Billion and he made all of that by working at Google. I know he's one example but there're many such people who became rich by working in good companies. However, your own business is the best step to break the bondage of poverty but you'll have to work hard and smart to make your business profitable and you'll have to compete with others in the same business.

The rich people who might be running businesses did not become rich today, they have their journeys and you are seeing only the outcome and not the process. Often the process of getting rich is through toil and hardship - this might require them doing small time jobs for certain time till something clicks and they are able to start their own business. Everyone has to start somewhere, they are not always brought up by rich parents.
So dont think of it that employed people are never going to get rich, but businessmen will. It depends on the mindset how we approach the world and hardship at the starting of career is normal.

I guess it wouldn’t be wrong to say employees can actually become rich. A lot of top executives and skilled professionals have actually managed to build and stacked up massive wealth just through their salaries and company shares, just like the example you gave. But the truth is that this is only possible if the employees have a professional skill and not just for regular employees. But owning a successful business gives one a much higher chances of building wealth, independence and of course becoming rich. Although this may not actually be as easy as it sounds, as it requires serious hard work, patience and resilience.

This image say so much more than I can say, even though I would like to agree that employees can still become rich if they knew how to invest some of their funds properly. There's just a whole new level of income stream and wealth that comes with being an entrepreneur or running a personal business, because of the exponential potential growth rate in income and the ability to diversify, earn from multiple income streams and be free to work at anytime of the day you want to upon building a good structural system that can function without much demand for your presence.

Indeed not everyone who engages in both businesses becomes wealthy and neither does being an employee but they can create wealth in the future. I mean many people become wealthy as employees with careers and disciplined investments. But to reach even greater heights almost all wealthy people need to own a business to become wealthy. Essentially being an employee can also create wealth if you have good financial management while most business owners experience significant growth. That's why many people say owning a business has the potential to become wealthy. So if your goal is substantial wealth you should have a business even a side business which is far better than relying solely on an employee salary. So, to achieve wealth it's best to combine the two work first, then invest and then run a business.

Because in business the benefits can be unlimited, while working has a salary that has been limited by the company that's why business people always get richer than workers, but doing business is not an easy thing, but it's also not an impossible thing to achieve, the people we see on the list of the richest people today are people who have managed to get out of the comfort zone of employees, they used to work and study in other people's companies, not directly become businessmen, with the intention that all businessmen must be former employees who choose their own path to become businessmen, maybe being an employee can also be rich but it depends on how you sell your ability to get greater value.

You see one reason is that when it comes to salary it do have limits, but business income can grow without fixed limit. As an employee, they do exchange there time for money while business owners can earn from customers, investments, workers and from the system even when they're not actively working every hour. And another thing is that business owners do take alot of risks, and higher the risk sometimes it comes with a good or larger rewards, but that don't mean that employees aren't useful and alot of people has used their jobs to build connections, capital and skills before going out to start something of their own .

Both salary and business has their advantages, but being self-employed gives an individual the opportunity to maintain their normal life and adjust just to ensure that they were able to handle their business in the appropriate manner. Owning a business does not mean you should have unlimited freedom, because everything supposed to have boundary, if you failed to handle your business with care, you will begin to see the opposite of what you wished to experience.
