That’s why many people today are earning more money than they did years ago, yet somehow still feel very financially weaker.

What's making it weak because of the high inflation these days. The salaries doesn't par anymore with the expenses and that's why even a minimum wager long time ago can buy a house and a car. But, not anymore today.

If you come to think of it, I believe the biggest part of it is psychologcal. People can tolerate paying into a system when they believe hard work will eventually create stability but once salaries stop translating into actual progress, frustration quietly starts building.

We have to pay because that's the system and that's not tolerance but forced obedience.

That’s also why more people are moving beyond traditonal saving and looking for assets they believe can protect value long term because many no longer trust income alone to keep up.

I'm from Nigeria and I can tell you that the idea of paying tax to the government boils me down to my bone marrows. More of a tolerant more fvcker lately but the idea of tolerating taxes completely bullshit.

The government has made life difficult for the person and it has become a lot difficult for people to keep up with life. It all boils down to the system of the government no?! And what they practice, yeah?! Yeah, maybe people are beginning to farm and also gather assests with less volatility which can get them cash flow.

When government have failed in the use of the system and this has resulted to disappointing the citizens also by not meeting there basic needs. In others country that values there citizens, while collecting the tax from the people, it is used to develop the countries economy which in return helps the people's standard of living with time. All I know is that the system of government does not really matter, but the people implanting it matters. Tax is not bad, but what are the leaders using if for, do the citizens benefits from the tax they are pay, or the politician are using it to live big.

Some people whose lives are quite peaceful in the sense that the taxes they give are in accordance with what they get because their government manages it well then maybe this will not apply because even though the large deductions they have to spend on taxes but the government provides many benefits because the taxes are channeled well then maybe this will be done voluntarily but for most countries especially in the third world where there are still many corrupt officials and a lot of problems especially for economic affairs then here maybe we are and do not like to pay taxes.

The reason is simple because we are only squeezed to make corrupt officials richer so we don't like doing this because there is no feedback that we get but on the one hand we also cannot reject this hard because tax affairs must be indirectly we also deal with applicable laws so that even though we don't like it but inevitably we have to pay taxes to avoid the consequences of applicable laws.

To be honest, this is a very hot topic in my country right now. Due to the severe corruption that's happening and it involves hundred millions of dollars. People are not happy with what they're paying through taxes. As we pay, we have no option because it is everywhere and it's not worth it to see where it goes. Because of how legal they're robbing people in day light, we're just closing our eyes where it is being allocated by the government. Yes, we are okay paying in taxes but we don't want to fund the crocs who are wearing suit.

With the recent Flood control projects scandal in my country, the people who tolerate taxes are now enraged by this event.  People are now thinking that their taxes are going nowhere and somehow most of those I talked to about this scandal think it is much better to just stop paying taxes, this way they are not enriching these corrupt officials and they can personally enjoy their money allocated for taxes.

I personally hate over-taxation where the government puts taxes on everything, food, personal necessities, aside from wage taxes.

If the government uses tax money to provide convenience to the people and solve their problems with tax money, then the people should never hate paying taxes. If the taxes paid with our hard earned money are not seen to be used in any way, but still we are paying taxes, then it is wrong. If the government realizes the needs of the people, then the country will definitely develop. But here the government is getting richer with the money of the people, so a good ruler should be chosen. If the rulers have a positive mindset to develop the country, then the people will never hesitate to give their valuable earnings.

However, the only reason why people could hate from paying taxes is that they have not seen newly, good projects from paying taxes all year long. And if ever there are some, they could not also benefit it the most because the target are those experiencing extreme poverty.

Call it unfair but this is what the government in our country like. Most of the taxes are spent exclusively for the poor people, while majority of it are now in the safe hands of corrupt politicians.

Tax has nothing to do with your decision of earning, in fact in some countries the government taxes the wealthy people more than they tax the poor. If your earning income exceed a certain amount in a year, the government will ask more from you while a person earning small will be tax less, this is why some wealthy people hardly liquidate their investments to pay tax, they go for long term investment. So earning less, not privileged in life doesn't concern the government.

What you should be concern about is the economic system around people that earned less amount of money and yet the government be irresponsibly be asking about tax. If a government is going to tax people, you should be able to account for every penny collected from people, be it thousands or trillions but some government takes from people without giving basic adequate life, that's not just stealing, it's wickedness and lack of accountability.

If we are to be honest, people do not like paying taxes. Why? Because aside that its making a huge deduction from our supposed to be net proceeds, we are not also seeing utmost changes happening in our country.

The country's government has its own budget for its people, for its citizens, but it seems like we are too much obliged to pay our taxes because it will be used to fund public services and government operations. Yes exactly, some people will decided to skip the payment of tax and use the money for other things. But if the government decides to deduct the taxes from their salaries I think it will feel more easier, because at least they will not expect that, talkless of putting it in their budgets. The the only problem that they will have now is from the self-employed individuals, like businessman, taxi drivers, food vendors and so on. In some societies I think they will be having problem with the payment of tax because they complain that the percentage is too high.

Inflation is one main reason we see this happening in the society, even when people decide to diversify their incomes, they still find it difficult to meet up with the demands as it becomes unmatched with the demands they get to meet daily, Inflation is something that is affecting people globally but in some regions it's on the high side and if they can regulate it such that it will be at it's minimum, then the chances that these issues around financial constraints will be taken care of or reduced to it's minimum.

Some of the Inflations are sometimes even Artificial and can be tackled to help people have better values for that which they have been able to earn as their take home from their jobs or profits on their businesses. the government of certain places can decide to put in place policies and regulations that will checkmate the artificial inflation and make the society a better place and help people get better value for their money.

People who live in underdeveloped and corrupt countries hate paying taxes because no matter how much effort they put into paying tax, they never get to see the effect of paying taxes on their country’s economy. Revenue is being generated regularly, yet development remains stagnant. Taxpayers are not motivated by such acts of negligence by the government.

Taxpayers should be motivated, and such motivation will come when citizens are gainfully employed, have all amenities available, and have no reason to question what the government uses their money for. People will continue to evade and avoid taxes as long as there is no proper accountability from the government.

If taxes use for good and improve the country, they will not feels frustrates and even they will pay the taxes because they can see the different happens on their country. But so far taxes could be a place for corrupt officials to get the money for personal and don't care with the country development.

In general, this is true, what people hate is those who receive taxes, where they misuse each other's taxes collected from the community for corruption, taxes to enrich themselves, which makes us angry and irritated by their behavior.

Why is it that every government employee is financially inadequate, the salary they receive is only that much, never increases, while basic needs continue to increase, in fact, with the salary they receive, they can no longer cover their needs independently, while taxes increase every year, that is the problem faced by most countries today, corruption is one of the most dangerous diseases in the life of society and government.

But that's just your opinion, because the fact is that more people are reluctant to pay their taxes, because not only do they need to pay more taxes than they should, the tax money they pay is used by those who have political power to have fun and make ridiculous policies.. plus, they see that rich people can avoid paying taxes by arguing that they create so many jobs. this is an inequality that makes people so forced to pay their taxes with their living conditions becoming increasingly difficult and uncertain.

People have been paying tax for a very long time now mostly in the western world, and I think that is just part of life and the Government have made it that way for individuals and businesses and companies are paying tax in the Western World I believe they absolutely don’t have a problem with paying tax.

But I’m mostly concerned about the African countries that citizens are made to pay tax, when they’re not benefiting anything from the government, most especially the Nigerian Government who are demanding every citizen’s to pay tax when they’re not ready to help the citizens or do anything meaningful for their Citizens.

Apparently the citizens would definitely be angry about paying tax to Nigerian Government, because the government isn’t doing anything to help its citizens, you don’t provide employments for the citizens, people are suffering and struggling to survive in the Nigeria and the Government still wants to take tax from them, which I think it’s absolutely ridiculous and wickedness.
