Chelsea get's Cucurella replacement as Pep Chavarría Travels to london for medicals after deal has been concluded with Rayo vallacano for the player.
Alonso is still very busy in the transfer market bringing in players that would put Chelsea back in competitive ways, let's see how it goes.
Marc Cucurella leaving Chelsea was a huge surprise on the faces on every Chelsea fans because nobody thought for a second that Marc Cucurella will be leaving Chelsea and today they're in the market surfing for his replacement and they found one. Pep Chavarria is a good leftback who carries himself as a duelt threat and he's very agile on the pitch.

Pep Chavarria will do well for Chelsea next season, he just have to gain acquaintance with his new teammates and knowing entirely who the system at Stamford Bridge works.

Every player looks comfortable in their team until they receive a call from a bigger team. No player refuses a club like Real Madrid, except if they are not able to reach an agreement. Marc Cucurella saw the opportunity to play in one of the best clubs in Europe and he grabbed it with both hands. I saw how disappointed Chelsea fans felt when he moved to Real Madrid.

Newcastle is now the new Borussia Dortmund of England  Cheesy
I can see, that is what they are doing now but they better be careful to avoid selling all their best players if not they will bear the brunt when the season matches get to heated stage and they need players who can withstand the pressure so that they don't underperform to the extent that they will find themselves within the relegation positions. Newcastle sound about 3 to 4 of their key players just in an interval one year, if they continue selling all their quality players it will really affect the team's performance.

There's no way this guy can replace Marc cucurella in Chelsea so there should be no mix-up. Cucurella is a kind of defender every team wants and letting him go was a big mistake and with the list of players that Xabi Alonso is signing, I can't trust the squad for the coming season and they may only improve from mid table to top 5. Chelsea did a business with Cucurella selling him off for about €51 million and getting a replacement for €19 million. They too understand that Chavarria is not as good as Cucurella but they needed to balance their accounts the more hoping that he improves better over time as his contract runs until 2031. Anyways, good luck to him in Chelsea.

I wonder how Newcastle United will fare in the Premier League this season. Players leaving the team include Tonali, Gordon, Guimaraes, Trippier, and Joe White.
The first three players on that list represent 40% of Newcastle's strength.
As for arrivals, there are four new players—including a goalkeeper—but I have never heard of any of them before.
I view Newcastle as one of the teams that will be fighting to avoid relegation this season; the squad has become significantly weaker—unless quality players are brought in.
The senior players left, the old coach left and now Matthias Jaissle has been replaced, so Newcastle may want to make a complete change with the coming season, continue to bring in young players, so they can expect future investment. Roll Eyes
Newcastle Transfer now does not shake anything, even though they have a lot of money after being acquired by the Middle East, why not be too aggressive like Manchester City who continue to buy expensive games, a bit strange here.

Yes Chavaria isn’t tested yet in the Premier league and honestly Chelsea would’ve just gone for a more proven premier league left back if they knew they wanted a direct replacement for Cucurella. I never knew this chavarria of a guy even when he was playing for Vallecano, i only get to hear about him when his rumored transfer to Chelsea. He’s already 28 years, I thought he’s one of those young signings Chelsea usually makes not until I find out he’s 28 which means he’s not a player for the future and he must start performing immediately. Tottenhams Djed Spence was available in the transfer market even for a cheap price of which Chelsea would’ve just gone for him because he’s a premier league proven and can also play as left and right back, now he’s just signed for Inter Milan. It took Cucurella several seasons at Chelsea before he starts performing and I just hope Chavarrias case should be different if not I would prefer someone like jorrel Hato to fill that position.

Cucurella wanted to leave, there is no gain in holding a player back against his wish. Chelsea did the right thing and profited from his sale while they can. €60 million was a fair deal, although I thought he was worth more. There are various reasons players perform badly in a club in a season and you don't totally judge a player by just one season, sometimes a bigger challenge in a better team can bring out the best in players. Maybe the new environment would bring back his shine, we shall find out soon.

I don't like it when people write others off totally. Yeah, he is not up to Cucurella's current form, but he has potentials and can improve and be on top of his game, especially if handled by the right manager. Talking about Cucurella, don't forget there was a time his career suffered a major decline and even Spanish national team left him out of their squad during his first season at Chelsea and here he is in good form and among the best, Chavaria should be given a chance to perform and improve under Alonso, who knows, he might be a good replacement as time goes on.

I believe before he was bought into chelsea those who went for the negotiation already know the type of player Chavaria is, it's not every player we must know i believe before Cucurella came to to chelsea he wasn't known much until he started playing for chelsea so i think we can also know Chavaria better when he starts playing a regular game for the blues.
Chelsea has signed some players waiting for the season to kick on they have perform very bad last season let's see what Xabi Alonso is coming up with this new season.

Liverpool still hasn't finished the signing of Bradley Barcola and now it's said Gakpo could also leave. There is a really short time left for the new season of the PL to begin.

However they don't seem to have a route for their transfers. I don't think they have a squad that can compete for the league title currently. The board is handling this process really badly.  Sad

Liverpool should do everything possible to make sure that they sign Barcola, I heard Liverpool has already agreed personal terms with Barcola, is just remaining PSG and Liverpool to come to agreement in terms of price however, for some time now I have not heard anything about the signing anyone. Liverpool needs to hurry because the season will soon start, and if the season starts without them having talented and skillful wingers it is going to affect them so much, so they should hurry up and make their important signings because time wait for no man. I hate the time they are wasting and I believe every Liverpool fan is not happy with how things are going in Liverpool right now.

I’m worried that Liverpool’s desire to sign Barcola may be difficult to realize, given that PSG isn’t willing to lower its asking price. Not to mention, if it’s true that Gakpo wants to leave, then Liverpool will find itself in a difficult situation next season, which will affect their performance, especially since they’ve already lost Mo Salah.

I just found out that there’s a special topic about EPL transfers. I’m pretty surprised about Man City, because they’re going to sell Tijjani Reijnders who has only been with them for one year. It seems Maresca doesn’t need him after getting a player in the same position. The rumor is that the Arab club Al Qadsiah has agreed to pay 60 million euros. At 28 years old, he probably wouldn’t go to Arabia just for money. Rumor also has it that Tijjani Reijnders is being courted by Nottingham Forest and Galatasaray. What do you think about this transfer?

I’m also surprised, and this transfer is just one step away from becoming a reality. Especially since Manchester City and Al Qadsiah have already reached an agreement on a transfer fee of 61 million euros. Additionally, it’s reported that Reijnders will soon fly to the Saudi Arabian club to undergo a medical exam.

I can’t wrap my head around why Manchester United is selling Reijnders, who has only been with them for one season and performed exceptionally well last season. I’m still wondering whether the sale of Reijnders is purely a matter of team needs, or if Manchester City simply wants to profit from the deal. After all, we know that Manchester City bought Reijnders for 46 million euros and is selling him for 60 million euros.

At 28 years old, he probably wouldn’t go to Arabia just for money. Rumor also has it that Tijjani Reijnders is being courted by Nottingham Forest and Galatasaray. What do you think about this transfer?

Source: goal.com
This sounds not a cheap rumor because i also saw Ornstein has also mentioned this too. So his farewell is likely happening very soon. However, still no conclusion regarding the deal between City and Qadsiah. I'd like to see him keep stay in EPL even if he plays for Nottingham Forest.

He's talented, but he's quite soft. he needs proper development to dig his true potential. So i believe he still has big potential to growth.

Why do he end his career this fast when he still gets a chance to play in the top european competition? Moving to Al Qadsiah is not a correct solution, unless, he's a money oriented player.

If i were him, Nottingham Forest would be my top choice because i'm still golden age (28 yo).

Sad
Personally I think Liverpool's wingers has been shitty lately ever since the Mane-Salah era they've been struggling and Salah is worn out already. Gakpo performed fairly but not as much as they wanted, Luiz Diaz as well and now they're looking for a better transformation.

I believe they are aware of the situation and short time frame they have to get two wingers if Gakpo leaves. The start of the season is a not a deadline for bringing in n a player, transfer window remains open till the end of August after the league has begun, that's enough time for me and a lot can happen on the last day of the transfer window so there's still time to finalize everything.

Transfers doesn't determine the performance of a team, and the available squad can still compete. Although bringing in new players can have some impact on the team.

      • Guardiola leaving Man City, can they get replacement coach that equal with Guardiola?
Guardiola's replacement can not equal him, He is a good coach and the final boss of experience, even Arteta isn't as good as he is, if he wants to be compared at the moment then we will be talking about a coach like Jose Mourinho who has similar levels of experience with him, but regardless guardiola is still better, he is the best coach there is at the moment,
Best coach? Not sure if he’s the best coach I mean other league too has good coach while currently Guardiola will be among the top 10. No doubt Guardiola is better compared to Arteta, I’m surprised seeing this comparison obviously Arteta learnt most of his coaching skill from Guardiola during his early days.
Manchester City will feel the absence of Guardiola and during this period this might affect city performance, it has always been like this for long especially when the former coach was very good and Guardiola happens to be the perfect example, Manchester City won most major trophies with the help of Guardiola, many might not accept the fact though we just have to wait and watch but, I doubt if the present coach will lead exactly like Guardiola.[/list]

EPL 2025/2026 won by Arsenal. We will soon face competition season 2026/2027. We will see various early speculation. Team strength map will change a lot, among others:
Arsenal's win on a sincere basis was a really big and unexpected one if you look at the previous seasons in the English premier League you'll see they haven't really won many which is part of why this one came as a shock to alot of their non supporters and honestly they did good no red cards and penalty throughout the season.

Will they win this next season? Well I'll say probably but if I had to weigh if they would or not simply based off probability I'll just most likely say no but nothing is really certain in sports.

Those who watch football without sentiments were happy for Arsenal winning the league last season but I can tell you that majority of the non supporters are not happy about it and they said that Arsenal doesn't deserve to win the premier League because they uses set pieces to score goals and all that, and I asked when did scoring goals from corner kicks becomes a crime in football that it's so bad to win a match from corner kicks, those person are just delusional and not happy for Arsenal.

I think Arsenal has a better edge of winning the premier League back to back this season because the team and coach have been for a good number of years now and they have connections over the years unlike other teams that just hire a new coach and there's no connection between them yet. Gaudiola has left city and that was the Coach that has always been a torn in the flesh of Arteta. They have a good chance of dominating the league.

The price difference between what PSG are asking and what Liverpool are willing to offer is what is making this deal stale, Liverpool wants to complete this signing but they consider the price PSG are asking to be higher than what they can offer for the winger.

PSG know they are the ones with the advantage in this transfer and that’s why they don’t want to reduce the transfer fee and have a middle ground with Liverpool because he still has two years remaining on his contract with them and Liverpool are kinda in a desperate situation to sign a winger after Salah left.

Chelsea get's Cucurella replacement as Pep Chavarría Travels to london for medicals after deal has been concluded with Rayo vallacano for the player.
Alonso is still very busy in the transfer market bringing in players that would put Chelsea back in competitive ways, let's see how it goes.

I really don't know much about Pep Chavarria, but I have heard good things about him and how good he is, but I will find out more when the season starts, although I still think that Marc Cucurella is going to be a good miss for Chelsea and I believe a lot of Chelsea fans thinks that way too, but what's the essence of keeping a player that wants to leave.
Alonso is building a new squad to help Chelsea get competitive again, I hope he get it's right, so we can see a better Chelsea in the upcoming season.

Liverpool still hasn't finished the signing of Bradley Barcola and now it's said Gakpo could also leave.

Cody Gakpo has always being a good addition to the team, so it would be a really big loss to Liverpool at this moment. Liverpool would have to complete signing Bradley Barcola or any other striker before releasing Gakpo, it would be a better option to sell off Isak over Gakpo at this point, he has not being the best at Liverpool after leaving Newcastle.

Liverpool are not where they need to be with the squad right now, and that would be a problem when the league starts, when they don't get the necessary replacement needed to strengthen the team.
