I'd like to know when we can expect an update to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Prediction Contest? I'm not rushing things, the tournament just ended a few days ago and there haven't been any updates yet, so I decided to clarify.

My guess is that they may be auditing the entire process as there were lots of users who abused the system as you can see from the leader board. I actually suspected some unusual activities in the way some people were flying in the points and I was wondering if they were so perfect at predicting the correct score or something. It was through the in-house chat functions or something that it was noticed that some users might have actually tried to compromise the system which I feel necessitate full audits to ensure the right winners are rewarded. We can give LM and his team more time to come up with update.

Please this is my guess which I feel is the right thing to do, it may be a different reason but the best we can do is to wait for LM amd his team.

One of them was an admin and he had access to the Tournament section. There was no way even main admin can alter anything but the admin (banned now) used a trick. He changed the match time in a future date and adjusted there predictiona along with 2 other users (told their friend but likely alt). Initially, I wasn't aware about this since I thought there's no way someone can cheat and I couldnt even imagine about changing the time lol. Someone shared me about changes of result; I then set up an activity log and found 3 users were cheating./ All of them were banned immediately.

I just checked and all the matches updated including the final well, check your points now. I am in 11th position and another user in 10th position with the same points (106)
But the user who is in 9th position has been banned so I suspect he doesn't count which means I can replace him in the top 10, this is just my opinion and final decision is made by the mod. By the way congratulations to you and and all participants, you finished in 7th place right? unfortunately you only 1 point behind the top 5   Imagine the next competition in the Champions League or local league

Yes, the final round was just updated, but it was updated incorrectly because the match ended 0-0 in regulation time. That's the score that should have been counted, not 1-0, because Spain won that victory in extra time.

So please correct the error, who enters the results into the table.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think only in groupstage we uses the 90 minute result in this tournament since there is no extra time or penalty shootout in groupstage. From the Round of 32 to the final, if a match is tied after regular time, it goes to extra time and if still draw in overtime then oc it go penalty shootout. So I believe the final score should be the result after extra time, not just after 90 minutes + stoppage time.

Of course you're wrong. Look at all the results in this tournament, only regulation time has always been counted.

If you look at any bookmaker's rules, the match score is always counted only in regulation time. And actually, in this tournament, it's always been counted as in the group stage, it's clear there's no extra time, and like in the playoffs, only regulation time has always been counted. The England-Norway match was also counted as a 1-1 draw in regulation time, and this is correct.

But at the end of the tournament, for some reason, count the results including extra time. But I think that's just someone's mistake, which shouldn't be hard to fix.
