I don't think sports betting is better than casino games; being able to evaluate a team and its statistics is no guarantee. In the end, it's all luck. Betting on the favorite doesn't guarantee victory; having access to detailed information helps make a better decision, but it doesn't guarantee victory either. They are different forms of gambling that are based on the same end: luck.

All you said is actually true but then again there is no leverage when you play casino games because you don't have any previous experience to look at but for sport betting you have previous games and the head to head stats between the teams for you to look at and this can increase your chances of winning. We are not trying to say if you analyze the games that you get a guarantee victory but then it will give you a clear idea what you can decide to do and also when you consider the forms that the teams are on then you can make a better decision because it is only by luck that a team that is not on form will win a team that is on form and this reason is also why PSG has been able to win the champions League back to back.

I think the main difference is not that sports betting is better but that it offers more information to predict a bet. For example you can study team form and injuries  and also statistics and many other factors which can improve your decision. While having more information does not guarantee profit in betting but its better then eyes close and predict. In the long run most sports bettors still lose because bookmakers build an edge into the odds  just like casinos have a house edge. Research may reduce mistakes  but emotions and poor bankroll management and overconfidence often cause people to lose. What i m trying to say is sports betting is not actually better than casino gambling but it simply gives bettors more control over their decisions  while the final outcome is still uncertain.
