All of you agrees that you shouldn’t put all your money into just one altcoin. The risks don't outweigh the rewards. We still often see this with altcoins that have no future in the crypto market or even with altcoins that are useless. And won’t survive in the long run. I personally have experienced losses when I put a lot of money into a single altcoin. And the loss I incurred happened so quickly. I also made another mistake when I put all my money into fungible tokens on the Runes protocol. The mistake I made was because I was too greedy for the potential expected profits or even because I was lulled by uncertain hopes. I also lost money when betting on the altcoin KanadeCoin on the Ethereum network. I’d also like to know, have you ever lost money by investing in a single altcoin? And what was your biggest mistake?
A lot of altcoins investors have learnt big lessons from holding these shitcoins and as much as the information is disseminating very fast a lot of newbies are still falling into the traps of these fake projects which are ruining the reputation of the crypto market. If the crypto market cannot be regulated then information must be disseminating fast enough because a lot of scam devs are making a lot of money off ignorant and greedy experienced investors.
If you want to hold only one cryptocurrency then look no further than Bitcoin, it is the one cryptocurrency that has proven it's potentials to always reach ATH and that is why even in this bear run investors are still buying and holding it. Most altcoins are scams and if you want to invest in them you should make sure that you know what you're going into that they are gambles. If you want to take your chances on any altcoins make sure that it is with amount that you are comfortable to loose.
