It's unhealthy practice to put all our money or investment on a single altcoin, we need to diversify our assets on cryptocurrency in order to increase our tendency of making more profit over them, this strategy also helps us to maximize our profit by way of reducing the risk.

Only a newbie that doesn't know what he is doing well make a decision of investing all is accept on a single altcoin, as it stand, we are to invest only on bitcoin before we could consider any altcoin as our alternative investments in cryptocurrency, this is the normal standard and as well we can choose to make the necessary research before doing so.
If I am being asked about this particular matter, I will let you from my perspective, the only single currency I can entrust with my funds and have all my money inside is Bitcoin. Anything outside Bitcoin, every other currency being it digital or physical is a no go area for me. The single reason why I will result to investing only on Bitcoin even is due to lack of enough funds which will enable me to diversify, but inasmuch as I have enough funds which will enable me to invest more money, I will also diversify my investments, after investing on Bitcoin. As for the newbies, it is always the best way for them to ask before delving into investing in any coin, people who ask hardly lose as much especially when you consult widely before making certain important decisions.

There is no need to complicate the scenario.  Generally, the Altcoin gets hype, people purchase it in a queue, then nothing actually happens and everyone sells, the Altcoin drops to the floor and gets de listed from Coin Market Cap to never be heard of again.  The main risk of purchasing a single Altcoin is just that.  Purchasing something that will constantly lose value at a speed faster than any Fiat Currency can.
Investing in altcoins and meme coins are very risky, since it is more like you are gambling than investing. Diversification is very good because it spread your risk across several asset, but in this crypto industry, it's very risky to diversify because apart from Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB their is no other coin to diversifying into because the rest of other crypto asset are all full of shit.

Those people that bought several crypto asset and be hoping to make a fortune from one or two of them are just gambling with their money, because they are doing things based on hope, which is the same characteristics of gambling., not of investment.

The only crypto to completely trust is Bitcoin, even the high rated coins like BNB, ETH, SOL, and others are not to be completely relied upon even though they have gain some reputation in the crypto industry, but diversifying on them is not a bad idea even though buying Bitcoin o would have been the best option.

Investing on so many altcoins with the hope of making big money from some of them is not working anymore, it was something that has been working before during bull run, but the crypto market is not predictable again at all, therefore, investing on so many altcoins thinking they will pump is the same as gambling because you never can tell.
However, if you have done your research and have conviction over the project, then you can invest in the project at your own risk.
