And the first transfer news has come in. An agreement has been reached with Kassoum Ouattara. We haven't seen a good left back since Masuaku. This time Beşiktaş finished the left-back transfer quickly. 8+2 million Euro will be paid to Monaco for Ouattara. It's very hard to find a good left back for less anyway. I hope he will play effectively and become an important part of the team for a long time. Since he's so young, there's a high chance we'll be able to sell him later at a significant profit.
On the same day, we learned that Serkan Emrecan Terzi had been sent to Iğdır FK. Mediocre players like that used to play for Beşiktaş. I hope we won't see players like that anymore. The era of giving chances to mediocre players just because they came up through the youth system is over. Only those who deserve it should play.

I agree, it's essential that Beşiktaş now build a squad capable of competing for the championship again. They've disappointed their fans for years by failing to build the strong squads they expected. They need to prepare well for this season; with just 3-4 strong player transfers, they could become a much more successful team. There are too many low-quality players in the squad who aren't contributing much; these players should leave and provide financial support to the club

I see that the likes of Fernebache are now waking up to smell the coffee regarding fighting for the title and seeking ways towards dethroning arch rivals Galatasaray who continue to dominate the Turkish super league season after season, it's quite interesting to know that Fernebache are already in the transfer market, I hope they end up getting the best players this time that could stand up to Galatasaray and challenge them in every way, but there are also many other position where they require players and not on the left back position.

Fenerbahçe has experienced a change in both coach and president this year. Therefore, the team will part ways with many players and make many new signings. They will undergo a restructuring of the team. For now, it seems difficult for them to build a squad that can compete with Galatasaray, because Galatasaray's established squad can maintain its quality with a few transfers. However, I believe Fenerbahçe will still lag behind Galatasaray due to the numerous player changes.

Galatasaray is also targeting to make many moves as far as I can see. Our old player Jhon Duran is very close to signing for them. It must be on loan again if I'm not wrong.

As Icardi has left the team they have been in need of a substitute striker for Osimhen. I'm not sure if he can score like Icardi but he is in much better shape. Tongue

I have heard Okan Buruk is aiming to sign Can Uzun to make him play right behind Osimhen. That would be a big transfer for Galatasaray.

Actually, Can Uzun has the potential to be a valuable player not only for Galatasaray, but for any team that signs him right now. Despite being only 21 years old, he is a very high-quality and strong player. He had some excellent matches with Frankfurt, and it was a pleasure to watch him. If Fenerbahçe or Galatasaray were to sign him, they would have made a very important player transfer. Especially for Galatasaray, he could lead the team like a maestro in the attacking line.

I’m not sure if Can Uzun’s transfer will go through, and it doesn’t seem very likely to me. But Jhon Duran will provide Galatasaray with a real backup now that Icardi’s contract has expired. He’s young and in excellent physical shape. He might not be as effective as Osimhen, but since he played for Fenerbahçe in the league, he’s not exactly a stranger to the environment. At the very least, I think he’ll be an extra option for Galatasaray because Icardi is now a free agent and they need a striker.

Can Uzun would be one of the best investments Galatasaray could make. He is very young and very talented, and his value is already quite high financially at this age. If he develops properly, I'm sure he could bring Galatasaray a lot of money in 2-3 years.
He has the potential to transfer to big clubs in Europe. He could also make a great contribution to the team; young and energetic players always make a big contribution to the team Smiley

Last season in the Premier League, playing for Manchester City, he made 18 appearances and scored 0 goals. Yes, I wrote that right, he played 18 games and didn't score any goals. It's true that he plays as a defender, so we can't expect him to score goals, but he also didn't provide any assists. Okay, we can ignore that because he's a defender, but he's 31 years old. I don't know why they sign players who, in two years, will already want to leave the team for some Saudi club to retire. I keep wondering if Fenerbahçe's management expects to win the title next season with these kinds of moves.

Fenerbahçe has reached an agreement to sign Nathan Aké, who is 31 years old.

He was in the background at Manchester City last season. This made things easier for Fenerbahçe to sign him. I just hope he doesn't get injured right after he joins the team.

Because we have been dealing with injury problems recently. Sad There are only a couple of weeks left for our first Champions League qualification match. Ake - Skriniar could be a really solid duo at the center of our defense.

A sense of despair is already palpable among Fenerbahçe fans even before the league season has begun. Aziz Yıldırım’s short-term goal is to win the league title, but I don’t think he’ll be able to achieve it. As for Europe, I don’t think there will be much to look forward to this season. It’s clear that European competitions aren’t a priority, given moves like the desire to keep the squad largely intact, the arrival of Vedat Muriqi, and the attempt to re-sign Becao.

They’ll also be able to see where the club stands financially this season. A star like Greenwood or someone similar might come in, and this season will just be muddled through. This transfers is being made to avoid drawing too much attention.

I saw had this same thought when I saw the news of this transfer yesterday but on a second thought, I felt it could be a good addition at last because Nathan Ake is good at his position despite not scoring goals. Being a defender, he owns no one the duty of giving assists or scoring even though it's not like he is not allowed to do any of those things. Fenerbahce is keen on improving their defense and then going forward, they're also looking at boosting their attack with the rumour of being in talks with Mason Greenwood and have reached agreement with him alongside the Romans but Fenerbahce is advantaged to sign Greenwood because Roma is giving the condition that his signing will depend on them selling off their own players., so Fenerbahce can sign Mason Greenwood and/or Brahim Diaz. The team is in talk with Marseille actively and has every opportunity to seal the deal.

So they could fight better for the league by next season and would at leaygo through the second qualifying round into the main champions league and could possibly go beyond the group stage.

Nathan Aké transfer sounds great on paper, but his injury history is a major concern. If he stays healthy, he'll be a valuable asset for Fenerbahçe.

Beşiktaş have reached an agreement with Arsenal for Leandro Trossard. That was the bombshell transfer news of the day. Only 20 million Euro will be paid for Trossard. I think this is an amazing transfer move. It's not easy to sign a top-tier player for such a low price. The management did a great job.
Additionally İlhan Fakılı who plays for Clermont in France Ligue 2, was signed to strengthen the left wing. Only 1.8 million Euro were spent on this deal. We need to try a few transfers like this every year. If the player turns out well, it will not only bring financial gain but also add a quality player to the Turkish rotation.

Ake is a proven defender. Fenerbahçe's acquisition of this experienced player is a great success for them. Especially in recent years, there have been many speculations leaking out. Despite this, Fenerbahçe completed this transfer without any leaks. Now, considering that other players will be joining the team, I'm curious about which players will be leaving. Fenerbahçe wants to build a team that can compete with Galatasaray next year. As far as I know, they have already made two transfers.

I keep wondering why they hire "old" players. 31 years old is already an age where each season a player gets slower, and then they'll think about retirement. Wouldn't it have been better to look for younger players to guarantee a good long-term squad? Something like having players aged 20 to 27, that way they would at least have a strong squad for 5 or more years and who knows, maybe they would be winning the title consecutively like Galatasaray.

If I'm not mistaken, last season Fenerbahce's top scorer was Talisca with 19 goals, but Talisca is 32 years old and the top assist provider was Marco Asensio, who is 30. Therefore, their best players, who contribute significantly to the attack, are nearing retirement age. That's why I say it would be better if they focused on very young, skillful players.

You're right, but young and talented players aren't the first choice when it comes to Turkey. That's why Fenerbahçe has fewer options. They want to bring in experienced and talented players. Therefore, the fate of every Turkish team seems to revolve around signing quality and experienced players over 30. For example, Fenerbahçe, despite having a young and talented player like Arda Güler, couldn't keep him for more than two years. We see young players leaving the team quickly to go to Europe. Perhaps that's why Turkish teams are considering these options.

Nathan Ake is actually a good transfer for Fenerbahçe. Only the age is questionable on that... I know defenders can play decently until much later ages compared to most of the other positions.

But is Ake such a player? We'll find out. Will they make another transfer for the forward position by the way?  Huh  There isn't much time left for the 1st leg against Gornik in the CL. Vedat Muriqi is out but Talisca might be able to play I guess.

Ake’s transfer was the subject of much debate. I think it’s a risky move, and I don’t think Nathan Ake will start in the first 11 for very many games. The fact that he’s been injured so often throughout his career is a disadvantage for this transfer. Still, is he a star? Yes. And the fact that he’s coming from the Premier League shows that he has much better physical qualities than what’s typical in the Süper Lig.

I don’t know if Beşiktaş’s signing of Trossard is finalized, but acquiring a 31 year old player at this price from the Premier League’s reigning champions is a major success. I think he’ll get plenty of playing time in Turkey, and that’s exactly what Beşiktaş needs.

Isn't extending Mert Hakan Yandaş's contract just ridiculous? Grin What has this player ever done for Fenerbahçe that they're still keeping him on the team? Signing a new contract with a player who served time in prison for illegal gambling makes no sense. He's not even at the level to play for the team anyway. If we're talking about him serving as a role model for the team, it would be better if there weren't people like him on the roster. I think this will definitely reflect negatively on Fenerbahçe.

By the way there might be another transfer coming from Manchester City. Reports surfaced today that they're interested in Savinho. But that doesn't seem realistic to me. Tottenham will most likely sign him.

I think Trabzonspor is making the best moves. They've reached an agreement with Aral Şimşir. He was one of the best players available in this Summer's transfer window. To be honest I was surprised that the big three don't try to sign him. He would fit to all of them.

That's the kind of signings that goto the Turkish leagues. I think Oshimen's case was an exception. It seems like the league that most players from top leagues and teams usually go to grind out the reminder of their career. See players like Kante, Ederson, Sane, etc. Those fits the profile of Nathan Ake and Trossard. Main issue is that young talents usually get purchased to big leagues while players that are likely past their peak go over to Turkish league and leagues like Saudi.

The transfer window is proceeding rather quietly at Fenerbahçe as well. The new management is trying to avoid leaking news to journalists and the media during the transfer window and is attempting to announce transfers via FBTV or the radio. The Nathan Ake transfer has already been finalized, but another name currently being discussed is Mason Greenwood. Although the club is trying to proceed quietly, there have been many rumors circulating and being shared recently suggesting that this transfer will go through.
