Remember footballer is very unpredictable meaning anything can likely happen. Arsenal were very low in morale so psg took advantage of it and start dominating the ball. In the second half of the match PSG was creating strong pressure on their own. And they were showing their true character on the field, I saw the match myself. But saying PSG would definitely equalize feels a bit strong. I agree with you; the favourites are always the same, and in the Champions League there’s no room for underdogs, apart from a few exceptions in past years, though these are very rare.
As well as the teams you mentioned, I’d always include Atlético Madrid, who are a tough side, and Manchester United, who could make their mark if Carrick gets off to a good start.

We just have to see the magic Carrick will survive the coming season or not because for now Carrick has to mix his own club different from last season where all the players are inherited from Amorim.
If indeed he wants to improve the quality of coaching then this should be used as a good enough test to show that he is indeed capable of coaching since the beginning of the season but when their performance decreases then Carrick's condition is still the same as Slot at Liverpool where he is not quite able to mix his squad well in contrast to the legacy players who have been there and given the previous coach.

Arsenal exceeded my expectation in that match, I agree they adopted the best strategy since they don't have the midfield to play against PSG. The only place I fault Arterta in that match was when Vitinha was removed, he would've started an attacking further to maneuver the weak PSG defense, but he continued defending, maybe they didn't have any backup strategy for that match sorry from full defense and optional counter attacks. Arsenal defense was solid that day, but if they took attacking a bit more seriously, they would've been able to score more goals in the match. Buh let's ask say luck was against them, but they really did well.

Arsenal's approach in this final was understandable because they know they cannot go head to head with PSG because it will allow them to have open space to play them and attack them considering PSG's attacking quality, so they need to rely on counter attacks and very good defensive play. But arsenal was able to hold them for a long time which shows they are the best team throughout the competition and for the fact that they scored means they can hurt PSG when the time comes. But against an elite team like PSG, one moment can change everything in the game, after PSG equals, they had the confidence to push for more goals because the focus shifted instantly. Obviously it's gonna be tough to compete, UCL is a total different story than Seria A, which right now doesn't really belong to the top of European football. Newbies tend to have a hard time, especially because budget wise they have a clear disadvantage. But hey, every other season we see a Cinderella story, just like FK Bodø/Glimt last season that kicked out Inter and basically owned Sporting before getting crushed in the 2nd leg. It's all about performance and even in the champions league, although experience matters a lot but if a team can perform well they should be able to do well and get far in the competition. The chances of an Underdog team winning the champions league is very minimal but at least reaching the quarter final or semi final is very possible if they can perform well. I don't think Atletico Madrid and Manchester United can do much than just reaching the quarter final or semi final.

They did exceptionally well and I am not surprised they got a spot in the champions league to showcase themselves. I just want to see how well they can perform and how far they can go. Their performance will greatly be influenced with how they react during the transfer window. If they don't utilize it to improve their squad then they are likely not to reach the round of 16.

Como develop is very rapid because it took only 2 years after promote to Serie A and successfully to finish at 4th place and deserved 1 spot for champion league next season and if we see Como owner habit i think most likely this club won't recruiting star player even Como representative have been confirmed this moved that for next season Como transfer priority is only to improved the club weaknesses but this is interesting that Como is still new in this competition which obviously people won't counted them as strong club but i want to see them surprised us and if possible qualified to the next stages

Actually, Bodo/Glimt showed us last year in the Champions League that money isn't that important in football. They put in a magnificent performance in the Champions League and eliminated Inter. They managed to eliminate the reigning Italian league champions. They even won the first leg of the next round. As long as Como has a team made up of cohesive and harmonious players, they will continue to be contenders in the Champions League and in Italy. They just need to fully adhere to their tactics and be disciplined, and having young, talented players in the squad is one of the factors that can make this happen. They need to bring in quality players who are hungry for football, just like they did last year.

Arsenal change their pattern of play in the UCL final and I think it's among one of the things that made them lost the UCL. I'm not saying going all low blocks to defend is bad but against a team like Paris Saint Germain, your side will become the underdogs and you will be put under pressure throughout the full 90 mins of playing time.

Mikel Arteta was criticize for such pattern but I wouldn't blame him because even the goal PSG scored was a penalty and not an open play goal like Arsenal did.
