That's so sad, he lost his life just because of the game. I know football is so exciting and an emotional game. Not only the players, but the fans are also very much attached to it, and when something happens that can bring their team down, they can't bear it and may suffer a cardiac arrest. Firstly, they have to understand that the game is just for entertainment. You should keep in mind that you shouldn't think about your life in such extreme ways. Sometimes you will win, and sometimes you will lose, it's part of it. Secondly, it is necessary to check up on yourself every week so that you can know your body’s health and do things accordingly.

It’s actually hurts when your favorite team lost a game and you’ve rooted for them to end up the game with a win.It pained my emotions when arsenal lost the game but no to the extent where j would fall down and die, there are certain things we should ask ourselves;questions like what if I die today because arsenal has lost the match, would they stop existing?absolutely no.In everything, learn to manage your emotions,I know feeling emotions is involuntary but there’s a way you can get rid of certain things that could result to heart attack.Always look out after your health because high blood pressure kills faster than other things,a man was angry to a point that he had to hung himself all because arsenal lost the match.

A lot of people also no that there health is not good but because of the fan they are they didn't want there club to play the final without seeing them and final is something emotion usually don't get stable even if you are holding yourself from imagine or feeling it too much but as your club your heart would be rising very fast. Non of the two teams that played the finals are the club a fan but is mostly through players I support one side but still I felt for Arsenal on the final, so actually people should reduce the length at which they fan a team so that this kind of things will stop happening in final matches from fans. Were I was watching the final a very grownup man that's advanced was crying out of control on the lost of Arsenal.

It is with tears, sadness and sorrow that this young man by name, chibuzor from Anambra state in Nigeria was laid to rest either yesterday or today (not sure).
It is reported he died while collapsed, and died while watching the Arsenal verses PSG UEFA champions league match that was played on Saturday where Arsenal lost to PSG with penalty.

The deceased was a die hard Arsenal fan, those who witnessed the event said he collapsed during the penalty stage of match after PSG defeated Arsenal.

When the sports go beyond just being an entertainment and being a fan means more to you than anything else.

I wonder what has the team, Arsenal got to say about this, oh wait, do they even know and if they did, would this be the only incident around the world?

I know I felt such tensed pressure during the spot kick, I didn’t want Arsenal to win and I was very pleased when Eze missed his spot kick but, Raya quickly even the situation and the pressure was back.
Still, you get to see it for the entertainment and know that, life goes one. Hope he didn’t have a bet that would mean his life on it though, even then, life goes on.

This is not a health issue we have seen this type of things over and over, especially when the Nigerian national team is playing. It really unfortunate that this type of an unfortunate event is happening but this only goes to show us that, if you are anxious and always feel agitated when ever you are watching a live match should stop. Especially in matches that the team that you are supporting is playing. This is a case of a sudden heart attack due to the shock of Arsenal players missing the penalty kick.

Our hearts goes out to the families and friends of this young man, this is actually a great Miss to the family. But this should also be a warning to all football fans not to takes these clubs that they support too seriously. The sooner they realize that this is just a game of sport and that there most be a winner in football games. These types of unfortunate events will stop because over here in Nigeria the length at which dome Arsenal fans were taking this whole celebration was just too much if you ask me. They have already concluded that they were the winners of the champions League Eve before the game started. So when there expectations were cut short many people were disappointed and some having heart attack just like this case.

The deceased was a die hard Arsenal fan, those who witnessed the event said he collapsed during the penalty stage of match after PSG defeated Arsenal..
Cause of death was not ascertained, but my own personal assumption is that he must have had a heart attack due to blood pressure rising from the intense pressure, and what this means is that the deceased had an underlying illness, possibly BP which he may not be aware of..

Let's admit it, so many fans put more time and more attention to their favorite team than to their welfare, and they sacrifice more for their teams, but when something bad happens to you, your family is the one that will take care of you, and the team that you adore so much doesn't care at all.
Let's put everything in the right perspective. It's ok to be a fan, but do not be a die-hard fan to the point that you prioritize them over your health.

Different stories resulting from this Arsenal versus PSG UCL final. There have been reports of many deaths that happened after the match, what marveled me is how emotionally attached that many football fans get themselves into, such that everything that happens to the team they support it will automatically affect them physically. I know that final matches create tensions starting from the players to their fans but people really need to control the way they feel about the outcome of their team. I used to find myself in such tensed situation where my heart begins to beat faster while watching live matches but i was able to control myself and even reduced matching football matches especially those that are played by my team. Many people have High blood pressure but they are unaware because they don't visit the clinic often to run checks on the status of their health.

This is how I almost had a heart attack due to one of the AFCON seasons when my country Nigeria went into penalty shootout against South Africa,

Do you also feel tense when watching a match where you have placed a bet? I don't mean your national team, nor the team of which you are a fan.
I also have a friend who gets quite tense with his bets whenever gambling. So he avoids watching it live. He only watches when he is not betting.

Maybe your friend is new to gamble, I'm sure that those who have stayed long in gamble don't feel tense while watching the match they bet on. Personally I even find it more pleasant to watch the match I bet on at least let me know where the fault is coming from because when you're tracking it or maybe through LiveScore you might be feeling that the match is rigged or something like that, not knowing that the team you bet on is not performing well, so I prefer watching my games to be sure of the outcome. Due to this reason I don't like betting multiple games just single game.

Don't take gambling to personal and allow it to affect you by any way, we should also manage our temperament when gambling so that we don't get ourselves into unwanted situations, don't involve in high risk gambling decision or bets, plan yourself well and don't get into loan or anything that could raise your blood pressure high whenever you are considering for gambling, because you may eventually end up being disappointed and this could lead to some health complications when you think over it.

It is might be true that this guy might be having a kind of health challenge, and sometimes somethings can trigger some health challenge.
I understand that the game of football is full of excitement, but when it comes to where your fafvourite team is now defeated, some fans may not find it exciting anymore.

My condolences to this very guy, that is why it is very wrong to be too emotional in what anyone does, if he had full control of his emotions, this wouldn't happen to him even though he was having any health challenge that could cause him this demise.

There are really people who put too much effort on their favorites or idols. To the extent that they forgot to prioritize theirselves just to show how much they love or support a team or a single person. And that's where it becomes a threat to their own health, especially if they have underlying health issues that they continuously ignore for long. That they forgot that there's only one single life, but a game or a team will always be replaced in one way or another.

I guess with this incident, we should always value our health first, our life, before minding other people's lives. We all played our different games, we just have to be wiser in playing our own game.

Health is wealth they say, but being wealthy doesn't mean you have good health. The key is in balance.
Don't do certain things that affect your emotional state and psychology because when panic happens, the ability to stay calm and compartmentalize certain scenarios makes you safe and sound in the least bit.
These days we have so many death stories of people who just slump or don't wake up because we have more of fake products and medications that do harm slowly without notice and that's why it's important to keep fit so as to avoid being reliant on certain medications and therapy and activities that causes BP to rise or drop suddenly without warning.

I don't watch a match that gets me on the edge, nor do I try to put myself in situations that may pose a health challenge to me. Hence why I prefer to gamble using analysis of historical data instead of live betting while seeing the match live.
Am sorry about the demise of the guy who slumped while watching the champions league final, it just goes to be a reminder to us that we shouldn't hold much attachment to things beyond our control because our emotional state is vastly responsible for our actions and inactions afterwards. Guard your mind, guard your soul and see how peaceful and beautiful life really is.

This is how I almost had a heart attack due to one of the AFCON seasons when my country Nigeria went into penalty shootout against South Africa, I was watching that match alone in my room and at a point, it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest, at a point again, I noticed I was beginning to struggle to breath properly, I quickly grabbed my TV remote, turn off the television and rush outside, I started breathing heavily and sweating profusely, since this incident, I started being careful of the match I watch, if its a match that will get me too tensed, I will avoid watching it and simply follow up the scores online..

This is from me to you today, football is very exciting to watch, but you have to know it's not worth dying for, go for test from time to time, check yourself and know the status of health so you know what and what to avoid to stay alive and healthy ✌️
IMO I think that the deceased has gone to place a very huge bet on Arsenal winning PSG, and the money he use may be a borrowed money that he got from someone and he promised to repay back. And when the match didn't go the way he expected he enter into shock from overthinking and slumped. I was also downcasted and furious because that cup belongs to Arsenal, they should have win it, but the referee and VAR was biased. Mendes pushed madueke in the penalty box, as he was trying to collect ball from him. I don't know why penalty was ruled off there,.what that was a clear foul .

Health is wealth. The man probably might have ignored some of his health signs, which is why it happened this way. We can't tell if this is as a result of the amount staked on the game or if it is as a result of his love and expectation of his club to win, and he can't handle the loss which resulted in his heart beating too fast, and it affected his health, which many from that neighborhood will learn from that incident and work on themselves not to allow that repeat itself.

People of this kind usually develop health complications as a result anxiety, patient with high blood pressure difficulties are advised to stay out of such situation because at any time when the body is not responding either there’s something wrong and at the moment medical care is needed otherwise the person will die. In as much as Arsenal vs PSG match triggered the situation, it’s no longer a football problem rather if he was given a first aid meaning a quick treatment that can help lower the pressure I’m sure the person will still be alive, you can never tell what might happen next viewing how Arsenal vs PSG match disappointed a lot of people basically taking such risk just for the love of football is not worth it instead everyone should prioritize their health first, op mentioned about leaving such environment obviously this is the best thing to do because the victim in question might have gotten a sign not too serious but, he refused to leave.

I read some news online, and franking speaking, Arsenal losing the Champions league final to PSG reported led to the death of a few of their fans. I kept asking myself this question: why is it different with Arsenal? Other clubs have lost the champions league final more than twice, yet no lives were lost. unless I was not aware.

Yesterday, Arsenal lost the champions league final to PSG, and some fans reportedly lost their lives. However, i do not understand some fans, why would some collapse just because their club lost the Champions league? are their destinies tied to the club?

I have been a Manchester united fan since my teenager years. Whenever my club loses a match, whether it is a final or an ordinary game i feel bad, but not to the extent of collapsing.

That is the problem, the way many people values football is alarming , like this is just a game ,but many take it so personal,to the point of not minding what the outcome may looks like ,I'm sure he was aware of his health condition but at that moment he couldn't control his emotions that led to his death , I also saw one that hang himself just because they lost to psg ,all this news is just so annoying, anything gambling or football, wisdom should be applied to it ,it's not something to put your all into it ,I feel for their families anyway , because I really don't know how they are going to take this information.

To me I believe football is a game established for entertainment and should be considered such and not taken to the level most people are taken it now.
I know since 2006 when arsenal lost to Barcelona in the champions league finals they have not gotten the opportunity and all where expecting a game with curiosity,  determination and focus with a central goal which is nothing but the trophy  but lost that golden opportunity at last.
I will say i am not impressed with the decision made by those fans that lost there lifes just because arsenal lost the trophy because I see nothing worth comparing with life as life is everything one should pray for.

Health should always be our top priority, because once we know how to value our health, we will also learn how to be careful on our actions and decisions that would not put our health being compromised.

I doubt if the said Arsenal fan was cautious on his health as well, because what I only see is that he just made it sure to be true to himself, and become a die hard fan, without realizing that his sudden felt of emotions would lead him endangering his health, or worst lose his own life which is the current case.

It's okay to celebrate with your team if they are winning, or sympathize with them when they are at loss. But there should be boundaries and limits, most especially if one is facing a serious health concern. One thing is certain, no abuse is good, it will often lead to a negative outcome.

Do you also feel tense when watching a match where you have placed a bet? I don't mean your national team, nor the team of which you are a fan.
I also have a friend who gets quite tense with his bets whenever gambling. So he avoids watching it live. He only watches when he is not betting.
All these are emotional torturing that needs to be mastered, built and overcomed, this do not only occur in football matches but in reality, every part of life, you can't further self development when emotions still into play, you can't go rich too if emotions are major weak point, you can't fly higher in life also if you become rich with emotions attached to him, it's impossible.

I haven't seen a successful man that isn't strong enough emotionally, they might have made the mistake of allowing emotions rule their world untill they learned the hard way and stopped doing it.

Many situations like this will keep on happening because the lesson of teaching young men to be emotionally strong, buoyant and confident enough to control his life wasn't taught in school. Parents could only teach you those if they actually loves you.
