The prediction you made using the word crypto is not correct because there are many cryptos in the market that are mostly not committed or trustworthy to investors. If you are tempted to make a prediction about Bitcoin, it is almost certain that the value of this digital asset will increase much more than its current value in the next 10 years. Institutional adoption of Bitcoin has begun. The process of making Bitcoin a strategic reserve has begun in many states. Bitcoin has gained acceptance among ordinary investors because it is decentralized and this amount will increase in the future and since the supply of this asset is limited (21 million), there is a possibility of a massive increase in price.

Do you think there will finally be mass institutional adoption of crypto 10 years from now and how much do you think btc will be at that time?

I believe Bitcoin's future doesn't depend on the actions of institutional players. More precisely, institutional players will do everything possible to keep Bitcoin's fundamental value and price as low as possible. But they won't succeed. 🙋

Institutional players are inherently oriented toward fiat money and the modern financial system. It couldn't be otherwise. 🤷

They don't need Bitcoin at all. Institutional players respect central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), regulated stablecoins, and all kinds of financial derivatives.

In my opinion, Bitcoin's future is tied to geopolitical issues and the use of the first cryptocurrency by artificial intelligence agents. I believe AI agents will actively use Bitcoin (especially in long-term projects). The term"digital gold" in such situations should be taken literally. When it comes to long-term internet projects, you need "digital gold", a reliable, low-volatility asset for long-term storage.  I think that's exactly how AI agents will use Bitcoin (though I'm certainly no Merlin the Seer and can't predict the future). 💁

For me, yes, ETF could be the game changer here, because if we relate Gold ETF to Bitcoin ETF, when Gold ETF started, we saw how the market cap and price of gold started to rise after its ETF.

I know a lot of people against with Bitcoin ETF but for me, this is how insititutional money started to flow.

Finally? So you actually think that it did not occurred yet huh. Then why do you think BTC had reach a price like we had now or the price we had last time ($130k'ish). A lot of them are actually here already and then their numbers can only grow over time.

It may not even take exactly 10 years. That is how fast spreading Bitcoin is, together with the latest innovation in our technology now. Along with that is of course, the price of Bitcoin can also grow. I can't only say if how much is the exact value it will have but some says BTC can reach $300k, $500k, and the highest I see would be is 1 million dollars. To be realistic, I think I can still agree with $500k max per 1 BTC.

We can't tell what the future of crypto holds in the future, but one thing I'm quite certain, they will be better than today as a tool for investment and as a currency. However, with regards to institutional crypto adoption, I don't think it will be possible 10 years from now, both bitcoin and altcoins.

For bitcoin, eventually its price will grow and will continue to attract bitcoin investors but integrating it into financial institutions, I guess it may take a longer process and longer years for its adoption to be finally realized. Much more for altcoins since majority of them have turned into fake and scam altcoins, and that made us harder to even trust altcoins both for investment and currency purposes.

I believe Bitcoin's future doesn't depend on the actions of institutional players. More precisely, institutional players will do everything possible to keep Bitcoin's fundamental value and price as low as possible. But they won't succeed. 🙋
like saylor printing shares using debts. He still won't succeed.

Bitcoin is clearly independent of institutional entities, even if most people continue to get confused by how much the institutions are purchasing Bitcoin and how much will be left for the regular adopters to buy.

Institutions are just players, they don't really care about Bitcoins future. They saw an opportunity to print more money using Bitcoin and they did. We know their agenda and they are still keem on the fiat system. Bitcoins growth depends on how fast adoption will take place.

Just comparing it with the last 10 years to get an idea, people who said bitcoin is scam are not stacking thousands of bitcoin and almost on the race to a million bitcoin, which says how much has changed in the last 10 years. And I don't see why not it continues the same or even at faster rate in the next 20 years as well.

Mass adoption can only be for stable asset not Bitcoin, maybe a new Bitcoin that acts as the stable price would be accepted for mass adoption. Let's say, the stable coin be UBTC, which can then used for buying and selling in the retail supermarket and even for daily usage around the corners of the globe.

And yes, Bitcoin coming 10 years from now would be a amazing opportunity for those who held strong today.

Do you think there will finally be mass institutional adoption of crypto 10 years from now and how much do you think btc will be at that time?

Crypto has always been a scam. The scam is possible because most people do not understand Bitcoin.Crypto and Bitcoin are not the same. Bitcoin is decentralized money with a fixed monetary policy, while crypto is mostly a playground for scams, speculation, and centralized projects.

Ethereum, for example, was created out of thin air. They issued tokens to themselves and then sold them to naive people. When they sell everything, they can always create more tokens, just like bankers can print more fiat money for themselves.

Crypto is temporary noise. Bitcoin is the real revolution, and in the end, it could replace the fiat system.

BTCs role was introducing crypto assets: showing that crypto is (technically, politically, economically) possible.
Bitcoin is a finger that points to the Moon. It was revolutionary indeed but this revolution will die out if its pioneer remain the only bird in the world.
Crypto is just so great idea with tremendous potential we have seen only a very small fraction... Look at for example John Palmer article "What if Everyone Had Their Own Cryptocurrency?"
https://medium.com/@johncpalmer/what-if-everyone-had-their-own-cryptocurrency-551ea2f9aa1d

NB! I think the word "cryptocurrency" is misleading because even Bitcoin is more asset than currency and most crypto assets are not currencies at all.
