Looks like I actually had the correct one from the beginning but every name on it was looking very unfamiliar so it felt wrong somewhat. I will finally kickstart this round with Germany tomorrow and a chance to get some points.

This is my first time playing fantasy, I think it'll take a couple rounds for me to get a good hang of the tournament and how to make my picks based on the opponents they're facing.

This one seems a little bit "hard" to win since we play against ton of players that we didnt know at all, we are gonna have to show who are the real OGs to this new boys so they have to pay some respect, and maybe after we beat them we can considerer them to come to our playfield (the forum) and start to be part of our group. 

Or maybe they destroy us before.

I know we have two similar threads since both are for fantasy and the other one is pure and only for forum users and this one is forum plus jackpotter users or discord players, but come on guys we can still talk about how we kick the ass of the discord gang, i know we all want to see at top one of us instead of one of the discord guys.

As far as I know, many users might end up being disqualified because only a few of them posted their Jackpotter username and Fantasy League team in the registration channel on Discord. (not to mention those who makes multiple teams)..

Also it's a bit confusing now because the promotion was also posted on Jackpotter's official website and social media pages and those posts didn't mention any requirement to submit usernames on discord. Jackpotter is currently discussing how they will handle the situation.

As for the Fantasy League discussions, they're much more active on Discord than here on the forum.

I can now see where the strange usernames I saw on the league table were coming from, there were no familiar names there because our usernames were to be used as our team names. The table looks very large and I can see more than 300+ users participating in the contest under Jackpotter. Let’s see who gets the last laugh at the end of the tournament.

I have not being really active there since registration, signup and submission of usernames over the channel. Maybe others forum users are more actively discussing there than here on the forum about the fantasy.

The first round is now over, im not so far behind the guy who won the round so taking into account we are a lot of users in this pool is a overall good round.

Does this mean that the competition is among 65 people and all others were rejected? The league table on FIFA.com contains nearly 1000 people.

Where did you get the nearly 1,000 people figure? The league currently has almost 370 users.

We never said that the other users were rejected. The spreadsheet only includes participants who registered through the Discord announcement and completed the required steps.

Many users may have joined the fantasy league through the Jackpotter website or social media posts, where there was no instruction to submit POA on Discord. That's why they are not on the list. It does not mean they were rejected from the competition.

That's what the league table on FIFA.com says. There are exactly 968 participants in Jackpotter World Cup fantasy league.

Yes. For Round 1, we relied only on the spreadsheet. As you can see, the Top 5 users on the FIFA leaderboard are completely different from the Top 5 on the spreadsheet (announced winners).

This means that the Round 1 winners were selected only from participants who submitted their Jackpotter username and league name through the Discord registration.

However, Jackpotter is also reviewing the users who are currently in the Top 5 of the FIFA leaderboard. Since many of them likely registered through Jackpotter's website or social media channels, they may not have known that posting in Discord was required.

Because of that, there could potentially be another set of winners, but this has not been confirmed yet. Jackpotter is still working on it, so we'll have to wait for their final decision.

I didn't place any bet on Harry Kane, but in the Fantasy League I was really hoping he could score at least one goal to help boost my points. Instead, he ended up with only 2 points.
I saw a lot of parlays featuring Messi, CR7, Haaland and Kane to score 2+ goals, so I honestly expected Kane to find the net at least once. Unfortunately, it just didn't happen.
This scoreless Harry Kane is what really hurt my Fantasy League score this round. How about you guys? How is your Fantasy League team doing?
