I agree with you - each gender has their own hopes and dreams.  Since I had heart surgery when I was 13, I missed out on all the things boys did before that age.  I was just hoping to experience it through his eyes.

That is correct,  the level of knowledge impacted to children in schools now is completely different from the way it used to be before and helps increase there understanding.  I will say for now most children are blessed with great wisdom which is why It is easy for them to get along fastest and easily.
Although I won't say the wisdom in question is not limited to children of now because even before now same wisdom was in existence which is why they have people to look up to for mentoring

I think the reason why learning appears to be simpler right now, compared to the previous times is because there are more discoveries, more learning materials, technology advancements in the educational sector that makes learning so much easier for them. Learning for kids today is actually fun and rewarding and not as boring as it was back then.

Yes the advancement in technology and improved learning materials are some of the reasons behind children improvement academically now than before.  Before this time learning was limited to some already introduced practices with limited introduction of teachers established methods but the improvement in technology now have given room for advancement in all rectification, secondly before now education was not taken serious in most areas because of communication barriers and lack of awareness on the importance of education but now all are ready to learn because the importance have been made clear to all.
