I will blame the parents more on underage gambling because when it comes to looking after the children, the parents are the ones who are most closest to their children, when parents fail to look after and monitor the activities of their children and the things they engage themselves in so as to correct them when they make mistake or tour the wrong path, such parents will be blamed for the failure of those children.

When it comes to raising children, the parents are the first, then followed by the society, the platform is the last if at all the platform has any role to play in raising a child.
So when ever underaged kids or teenagers are found to be engaging in gambling at a age when they are supposed to still be in school, the child and the parents should first be held responsible before the platform because the platform may not even know that the child (supposed customer) Is underaged.

But lets start with parenting issues on which you wouldnt really be letting your kid should really be that involved with gambling in the first place or naturally you should really be teaching them about the cons of it and its not that right that they would really be that dealing up with it specially if they are still that a minor one. For me there are lots of factors that keeps underage gambling happening, yes bad parenting is one because as a parent it's your duty to educate and inform your child about gambling at there age but it is not only the fault of the parent also bet platforms need to start seeing that they tackle underage gambling online and offline make more public advert about it which will create more awareness.

Parents do not pay attention to their children and this is the opportunity for boys to get involved in such activities, I think there are some social problems. There is never going to be a solution to this because someone who is underage in a rural town will likely be next, how can the government monitored every underage that exists ? They have parents right? So they can take their parents ID to pass. kYC online.

Nothing is going to stop this, it's left for guidance and parents to take full responsibility of their children, they are the ones to keep an eye on them and try to talk them out of gambling or support them.

I will advice that if your kids are already into gambling don't try to force it out of them, teach them how to be responsible with gambling and from there you should try to show them the true nature of gambling.

I can't say that it is a parenting issue, since even if the parents properly discipline and educate their kids about gambling, they could still become addicted. What I would say though, is that it is a governmental and societal issue since, from what I've seen, gambling has been extremely normalised, and you can even see it on a daily basis, especially online, and from my point of view, that is one of the main reasons why underage gambling has become an issue now.

I come from a country which has very deep societal problems, so I don't have any doubt there are teens and children gambling on the internet who are from my very own citiy.
The problem in my particular country is how law enforcement do not seem to care about cases with involve minors using their money or other's money to gamble, they barely can catch up with other crimes like murder and robbery, so they seem to ignore cases of children and teens gambling.

Even if there are many minors gambling here in South America, I have always assume that underage gambling was rather an endemic problem from south Asian countries, where gambling is far more popular than it is here, and it seems to be part of their culture.
