In what way can gambling be called entertainment?

There are many ways we can see gambling as an entertainment, when we play with the expectation of the same thing, it will not be difficult for us to comply with what may come as a result of gambling even when we are at loss, many people are not willing to understand why gambling should be seen as being fun and not something otherwise for them to have the same expectation on it.

Anyways, like I said in my previous comment, choosing to gamble for fun or seeing gambling as an entertainment is a choice and not an obligation, even though gambling was initially created as a means of entertainment and fun, but today, alot of have changed, many people treat gambling as business and so on.
So anybody can choose to treat gambling as an entertainment or other wise, it's completely within their right to choose but what is very important is making sure we are gambling according to the rules to avoid getting into gambling related problems.

Those that gamble for fun don't really care about the outcome of their game yet they still got the fun they desire. However, what really matters is our initial intentions or purpose of gambling at the first place. If your intentions was to gamble as a source of income then I doubt if that gambler can ever find fun when on a losing streak, but if your goal was just to have a good time at your bored hour then you may likely accept any results you get. The problem is that it's very difficult for One to continue to see gambling as entainment because, gambling is a tempting thing which when not controlled carefully will have some negative effects on the individual. Yes it's true that those who see gambling as entainment are those who may not be interested in making money from gambling. But one tricky thing about gambling is that, it slowly and gradually finds itself into the individual.


The only sets of people who I can comfortably discribed as taking gambling, as entainment are those who are financially stable and well to do. Because such people doesn't necessarily needs money because they already have money, but I don't think that, anyone who is still struggling financially will actually take Gambling as entainment.
