We all read or told that Nigeria gained her independence in the year 1960 after British colonial rule. That is correct. But did Britain actually leave? Or they left politically but stayed economically. Still controlling our resources.

Britain drew  borders and forcefully merged Nigeria for it's own benefits. Over 250 ethnic group joined together and they thought war will not arise. You know about the ethnic war, I won't be going deeply into that.

Africa not even Nigeria is still controlled through IMF loan, common wealth membership etc. And we are all quite about it. Now I know the reason why they banned history is schools. Because I was in junior secondary school when they banned it or senior, I can't remember again. Is Nigeria truly independent or it is still under control through Neocolonialism?

Britain left Nigeria with extraction and corruption and Nigeria leaders took over from there. Satisfying Britain's interest. Is Nigeria really one, or we are a confused people joined together?
