They've been seeking unconventional marketing even when they were operating with more licenses than now. Now that they lost some licenses they even amped up the quirkiness of their marketing to the extent that they make direct deals with porn actors.

If this type of advertising works and attracts players, then I think some casinos may choose to use it. Competition among casinos is constantly increasing, and in a highly competitive market, you either survive and retain your audience or you lose users.

I believe casinos are capable of analyzing every type of advertising and determining which methods perform better, which perform worse, and which bring no results at all. Therefore, if advertising through the adult entertainment industry is a channel that can attract new players to a casino, then I think other casinos will also resort to this type of marketing.

They're paying the stars directly for simple social media posts.

Sure sometimes I saw it in youtuber videos and perhaps even live streamers where they would wear merchandise of a sponsor.

That form of promotion can never be cheap; to hire and get your casinos' ads on most of the actors' videos and across the porn sites is not going to be cheap. Celebrities charge a lot; pork actors won't be different.

The only thing I can agree with here is that not all casinos will buy in to that promotion pattern no matter how effective it appears because of their belief that most of them have different means they use to run promotions that are not copied by competitors.

Casinos today are gradually becoming very aggressive with their marketing strategies lately, and this is because they understand the fact that attention is valuable. Porn sites or adult sites already commands a lot of traffic and attentions of millions of users who spends long periods online, so I believe that the casinos are simply trying to exploit from that engagement. Although a lot of people might find this approach to be controversial, and though it may not be the best of approaches but it’s still all business.

1win is a casino that is very creative and generous for promotion. They sponsor shows on youtube (even though I dont support created content, it is often controversial), sport events. If they have gotten into porn industry, well, I can only say that their marketing department doesn't get his salary for nothing. I think it's a pretty desperate move from 1win and I can understand them trying to market themselves in whatever way is necessary for attention, I can understand doesn't mean I agree tho. As for whether other casinos will follow, I do think the more reputable ones won't touch it because the reputational risk isn't worth it, but probably the less regulated operators might see it as a viable marketing angle especially when they're targeting audiences in grey-market countries where oversight is weak.

But that's a brilliant idea and maybe they're the first one to make it. Because before, the target niche of these adult videos are specific only to it and most of the ads there were just like membership fees and s*x products.

This time, we get to see how vast the viewers of it and potentially they are also curious to see these brands being worn by the actors in the videos.

That psychological calculation of timing makes sense. When there is loneliness and a strong pull of quick dopamine, people are forced to spend their hard earned money on their own. But the story goes, this never creates regular or longterm customers in the casino. Most of them will become poor after playing that one night and the next morning they will have a lot of regret and anger in their minds. Which will ultimately hit the casino's own brand value and reputation.
