If there’s one thing these two have in common, it’s the fact that they are quite addictive. There are other stuffs casinos try to combo with gambling, we’ve seen cases of alcohol, and all the rest, all these just to try to lure the attention of people. The casino business is a very competitive one and it’ll require one to do something extra to be ahead of the market, so I wouldn’t blame some casino owners or marketers to think towards that direction, but the truth is that it’s totally wrong. These gambling firms assume that anyone who can afford to spend money on pornography could also afford to gamble. So they see it as a good marketing combination.

Honestly, they wouldn't attract people like me. I am ot a fan of pornography and will not use any product or service that promotes it. This type of promotion could also lead to porn addiction.

I am not sure about that, whether it is effective enough to be done by more casinos. But in my opinion, it might not be very effective. 
For casinos that also have sports betting, collaborating with popular athletes or players, I think, would be better for promoting their sports betting sites. But for casino games, I have already seen many short videos that also place links or casino logos there. There are many ways casinos advertise and partner to achieve the goals they want.

That’s a good and agreeable point. The problem is that most gambling platforms no longer focus on responsible gambling and betting alone, since there are so much competition in the business now, some are now thinking outside the box and incorporating a lot of things to gambling without actually minding or thinking about the potential risks of what they do, but as long as it gives them the result they need, they’re okay with it.

I agree with you, the gambling and porn industry are both individual platforms; there is no connection between them. If underage is not allowed in both, but since gambling can be played without KYC verification, it is not possible to identify all those who are gambling as adults, which means many underage people are gambling. So promotion of porns on gambling sites is not acceptable to me. Moreover, many of them complete KYC using documents of their parents or relatives, even though they are underage.

I think it’s not so much about shock value as it is about marketing. It seems like 1win did a good job researching their audience and decided to expand it through platforms where there is already an overlap of interests. If this kind of advertising brings in new players and pays off, then from a business perspective, their decision makes perfect sense. I wouldn't be surprised if other casinos also start looking for increasingly unconventional ways to promote themselves, especially in such a highly competitive market.
