[Public opinion] Can doge still make it to $1?

I never believed it would reach over 70 cents neither, and yet it did. So I am inclined to say that it will never see those prices again, and that was only happening because Elon Musk, one of the most famous people on earth, pumped it, and that's why it reached that level.

But at the same time, I was wrong before, so I would not have a guarantee that it wouldn't be another wrong estimate by me. I would not invest into it myself, not personally, but I can see others doing it and maybe they are right, I wouldn't know.

I also won't invest into it anymore.

We don't know what might happen in the future, it can be at $1 or it can never reach that price.

That $0.7 was actually a great milestone of it but it might be the only historical high that it can ever record. No one really knows and just as you, I don't have any price to say of how high and low it can be.

Most likely, the huge Dogecoin pump was a one-off event, largely driven by hype sparked by a well-known figure on Twitter (X). Personally, I don’t really believe that Dogecoin will be able to repeat that price peak or surpass it in the foreseeable future. At least for now, there are no signs of this, either on the chart or on social media.

IIRC, Musk helped a lot when he's so active in Twitter at that time and kept on tweeting about dogecoin.

Maybe with Musk's trillionaire status now he can do more if he wants to get more money from the market in a short time.

Where else would he need more money? Basically, right now, to maintain his status as a trillionaire, he needs to focus on developing Tesla and SpaceX, and everything else is, in my opinion, of secondary importance to him. And when it comes to BTC and cryptocurrencies in general, including DOGE, I think it’s just a way for him to have fun, nothing more.

To be fair Doge wasn't suppose to reach 70 cents so you guys are right. But at this point it's clear that we are not going to see it reach that levels again that easily. It's not going to end up with rising like it was in 2021, and there won't be a hype, so there is no reason for it to reach a dollar.

But anything would be possible if Elon Musk re-enters. So, in my opinion the best debate would be whether Elon will comeback to Doge or not rather than discussing about any price level for dogecoin.
