Ok, so I want to ask the community about something that happened to me recently.

I deposited $50 to try out a casino. I started playing slots at $0.40 per spin, and after just about 20 spins, I got lucky with some free spins and had $270 in my account.

What would you have done?

Withdraw it all?

If you've decided to try a casino, it's logical to check out the casino's most important feature - the ability to withdraw winnings. I would withdraw $200 and continue playing with the remaining $70, or wait until those $200 arrive in my wallet. If you withdraw $200 without any problems but then lose the remaining $70, it's better to make a deposit again than to play with the entire amount you won and remain in the dark about how the withdrawal will work when you need it.

This is what I have been doing and it is simple for me. Though everyone has their way of doing things. As you said, you deposited $50 and won $270. Simple. Remove the $50 you initially deposited and withdraw all the remaining balance which should be $220. And you continue with the $50 and if you win up to $100 again, withdraw $50 again and keep $50 and continue the enjoyment and if you lose the $50 again, you will be still smiling because you have already withdrawn your capital.

Funny thing here is that some gamblers will make another deposit even when they have withdraw the money they won. Actually you are very right that every gamblers has their own ways of doing things (including gamble), some will not withdraw until they are satisfied with gambling while some will withdraw and continue with the remaining balance. There are even some gamblers here that will only withdraw their initial deposit and continue with the winning. And if at all they lose their winning, so long as they have withdraw their initial deposit, they will not feel bad because they didn't lose. But I think it's lil bit crazy tho.

$50-$270, that's already a 4x for you. If I were lucky to be in your shoes I would definitely take out my wins and maybe leave $50 which was my initial deposit to keep playing. Not everyone gets to be that lucky. Though you were able to manage your deposit using Smaller risk which was a nice play. That's why I normally advise people to gamble using smaller risk. It keeps your capital long enough to hit some amount of winning. Using higher risk would only reduce your chances of winning( though might work for some people). But then after that win, it's up to you to choose what to do next. We can play greedy and go for more rounds but the chances of you loosing everything will be very high..

I would be withdrawing the $220 and would that remain that $50 as this is the capital or bankroll and the amount withdrawn is already profits. Even if you do lose that $50 then i would still have that $220. The main question on this one is on which you would be making up deposits with those winnings back into the casino or you would be buying something and secure those winnings on something tangible? It would really be that subjective on each person because we do have that different behavior when it comes into this manner on which there are those who are really that making up some withdrawal but later on they do deposit it back on which it turned out that its just that the same. So it will really be that up to you on how you would make that winning that worth and not really just that delaying things but ending up on the same story.

I answered the poll according to my own experience.

When I won something in slots, I withdrew a big chunk of it and left something so I can play more. $500 was the winning amount, and I withdrew $450, left $50, then played again. Sadly, all that was left was lost, and I am thankful that I withdrew a big amount before I got in trouble and kept on playing like a vengeful ghost.
What's next is that I didn't play again for a whole week. I enjoyed the money since $450 is a huge amount here in our country. Went to the mall with the family and just had some fun dining and playing. After that, I am back playing just $10 per day and hopeful that it could happen again.

I follow a strict rule when gambling. Here’s how it works:
1. I set a strict budget for the game. And I am not allowed to exceed it by even a single cent. It is strictly forbidden.
2. If I win, I immediately set aside 50% of the winnings (this does not increase the set budget), and continue playing.
3. If I don’t win, I stop playing when the budget reaches zero.

This ensures that I don’t lose more than I have, and if I win, there’s a high probability I’ll keep the winnings or recoup part of my budget.
