Ok, so I want to ask the community about something that happened to me recently.

I deposited $50 to try out a casino. I started playing slots at $0.40 per spin, and after just about 20 spins, I got lucky with some free spins and had $270 in my account.

What would you have done?

If you've decided to try a casino, it's logical to check out the casino's most important feature - the ability to withdraw winnings. I would withdraw $200 and continue playing with the remaining $70, or wait until those $200 arrive in my wallet. If you withdraw $200 without any problems but then lose the remaining $70, it's better to make a deposit again than to play with the entire amount you won and remain in the dark about how the withdrawal will work when you need it.

This is what I have been doing and it is simple for me. Though everyone has their way of doing things. As you said, you deposited $50 and won $270. Simple. Remove the $50 you initially deposited and withdraw all the remaining balance which should be $220. And you continue with the $50 and if you win up to $100 again, withdraw $50 again and keep $50 and continue the enjoyment and if you lose the $50 again, you will be still smiling because you have already withdrawn your capital.

Funny thing here is that some gamblers will make another deposit even when they have withdraw the money they won. Actually you are very right that every gamblers has their own ways of doing things (including gamble), some will not withdraw until they are satisfied with gambling while some will withdraw and continue with the remaining balance. There are even some gamblers here that will only withdraw their initial deposit and continue with the winning. And if at all they lose their winning, so long as they have withdraw their initial deposit, they will not feel bad because they didn't lose. But I think it's lil bit crazy tho.

$50-$270, that's already a 4x for you. If I were lucky to be in your shoes I would definitely take out my wins and maybe leave $50 which was my initial deposit to keep playing. Not everyone gets to be that lucky. Though you were able to manage your deposit using Smaller risk which was a nice play. That's why I normally advise people to gamble using smaller risk. It keeps your capital long enough to hit some amount of winning. Using higher risk would only reduce your chances of winning( though might work for some people). But then after that win, it's up to you to choose what to do next. We can play greedy and go for more rounds but the chances of you loosing everything will be very high..

I would be withdrawing the $220 and would that remain that $50 as this is the capital or bankroll and the amount withdrawn is already profits. Even if you do lose that $50 then i would still have that $220. The main question on this one is on which you would be making up deposits with those winnings back into the casino or you would be buying something and secure those winnings on something tangible? It would really be that subjective on each person because we do have that different behavior when it comes into this manner on which there are those who are really that making up some withdrawal but later on they do deposit it back on which it turned out that its just that the same. So it will really be that up to you on how you would make that winning that worth and not really just that delaying things but ending up on the same story.

I answered the poll according to my own experience.

When I won something in slots, I withdrew a big chunk of it and left something so I can play more. $500 was the winning amount, and I withdrew $450, left $50, then played again. Sadly, all that was left was lost, and I am thankful that I withdrew a big amount before I got in trouble and kept on playing like a vengeful ghost.

I follow a strict rule when gambling. Here’s how it works:

For me since I will likely go back to gamble anytime not at the exact moment I will withdraw a good amount like 250$ specifically and then use the 20$ which is below the initial capital to continue gambling and then this will make you have limited options when gambling because you have a smaller pocket or stake power and will only reduces my adrenaline to chase more wins instead, I will just chill and play with more logic and not emotions after that first win.

I believe this here is the smartest approach and decision any gambler can make in such a situation. Gambling are naturally designed to favour the house more in the long run, so the moment you figure out that luck swings heavily on your side and you are able to secure some reasonable wins, rather than wasting further time, the best thing is to withdraw everything first, even if you’ll still want to play, you can still come back later, but retreating at this point is in fact the best way to lock in some profits.

As for me I will withdraw all the $270, when I win some money no matter how little it is I will first withdraw all and then give myself a day and then go back to the casino to gamble, the reason why I do that is because I don’t want to have the mindset that I lost everything because it always affect me.

There is no confirm of winning money through gambling. There is no confirm that we will win a second time after winning the first time, so it is better to withdraw most of the profit through gambling.

To me I will cash out everything,them take a break, because that is just luck ,maybe next time when I want to play again ,I will deposit and start afresh ,you never can tell if you continue,if you can still be that lucky, but if it's not what you are looking for or the kind of money you want ,them you can still try out your luck, because to some that profit it's big while to some it's nothing to them , so it all depends on the individual and their wants.

Yes, some gamblers make fresh deposit after they have withdraw thier wining and it doesn't make sense. We are supposed to leave some portion of the wining for going again even though it is not that very day maybe when you decide to come back to gamble, i personally leave some portion of my wining in my account in case I want to go again.

Although it's individuals choice to decide whether to leave some portion of thier wining for going again or to withdraw everything at once, maybe when they are ready they can make a fresh deposit, of course we have the right to do what we think is best for us.

Left to me, I will remove 70%  of the money which will be something around 190 bucks,  that's  kinda enough for both  profit and capital , losing the rest  won't really have that much pain even if I decide to neglect my rules this time around.

That 30% still looks generous  anyway. If  I'm already  above my limit, then  definitely, i will be withdrawing the entire  $270 before calling it a day. You don't  know when next you will get that luck with slots again.
