People were concerned with higher priced silver pieces, so a more economical version was made out of brass that could easily be traded or gifted away. All brass rounds have the date as "MMXXIII". If you want to know if you have a 2024 piece, you will notice a small "v" stamped over the last two II. Making the date "MMXXIV". If you want to know if you have a 2025, a large "V" was stamped over the III part of the date making it "MMXXV". 2026 version will have a small "v" stamped over the first two II in the date, making it "MMXXVI"
