Yep, it does require little, whenever my net runs slow, I surf this forum since I can't waste my time on YT anymore, unfortunately I didn't think to create topic for the same since this experience is deffo content worthy but good on you.

...

Nevertheless the pretty funny thing is constantly using 5G or 4G barely makes you see a difference in speed but switching up to 2G you'll definitely get a very smooth experience on the forum regardless of page length and even if images are embedded or not. You should try it out
Fun fact; just for the fun of it I literally published this post with 2G and I think I'm gonna keep it for a while lol.

Disagreeed with this though. Difference is obvious to me, especially when loading images.

Yes, since embedded images are not cached (probably) and usually came from external sources/websites e.g. talkimg, bitlist, and others, which takes another resources than cached data from the forum. Probably 1-2 images is good but more than that, it will take a little longer to load them

So a couple months ago I had a very bad experience with my carrier at the time and could barely browse the slightest of applications and websites I often visit but slightly to my surprise the forum ran just fine on 2G. If can remember vividly I think there was a post where we were actually able to conclude that the admin did have some optimization happen back end.

What you gain in speed/performance you lose in usability.
Tell me honestly... is it easy to create a post on bitcointalk using a cell phone?

I have basic problems like selecting text, scrolling the screen sideways, keeping track of what I'm writing while typing, etc... and adding an image is complicated because it distorts the zoom and then the text becomes tiny.

A table then... impossible to do using a cell phone, it is very bad.

Anyway, the speed is good because the forum really has quite basic features, from the time when even a DSL connection would be enough (hopefully you also know what that is).

I use bitcointalk on cell phone exclusively for reading.

Now what's this "wap" thing or "imode"  suppose to be? I'm not really familiar with this, in fact I have never known this thing (calling it a feature) until today, only realizing it after seeing your comment. All of their after apperacnce seems identical to me though...

And it's a manual method right? I mean every time i need it, I'll have to manually add those keywords at the ending, page by page?
It's because you did not know about this thread

Differences among three pages, I really don't know what are their differences in usecase, but there are some minor differences in interface and I really don't know what are these pages used for. I guess it is for people who have limited Internet bandwidth so that they can access the forum, load pages with as lightest data as possible.
