Why would you possibly care about Vod's red rating anyhow? Red ratings don't mean what it used to mean. I don't think you'll get booted out of sig camps because of that rating if that's what you were worried about.

Because I still care about the correct/accurate use of negative trust? Maybe I'm living in the past, I'll bare that in mind. I know the tag is meaningless, just like with Lauda or any other member that hands them out like candy when they are frustrated or have their feelings hurt.
PS - Thanks for waiting until the end of Stage 2 before commenting. Very respectful, very mindful  Smiley

As far as I can tell, he's the only DT member who's been vocal enough to provide an honest critique regarding Vod's behaviour of late. If other members had said anything relevant, I would of added it as part of the update.

You haven't really been paying attention, if that's the case. You missed the part where I opposed Vod's flag on BitcoinGirlClub and explained why. You also missed other DT members basically raising the same points as me; if not recently then over the last few years. Most DT would rather ignore the entire issue, which is understandable. But there have been plenty of critics now and in the past.

Fair point, had forgotten about that and well aware you also opposed the flag (it was my main basis for opposition arguably). I have otherwise no doubt missed the opinion on other DT members, their time will come in later stages of this process. For now the Request for Feedback is designed so that DT members such as yourself are effectively last in line for solicited feedback, because obviously you'd be the most likely to agree it's not an appropriate use of negative trust as a distrusting member (elaborated below).

Based on your feedback however, I'll also consider the possibility of a process regarding Vod's use of trust feedback more generally if others feel that is appropriate and that's where this RfF leads, but will need to do a lot more research on order to aggregate the issues. Anyone else is obviously welcome to in the meantime. However it'd be better off as a separate process so as to avoid any confusion. For now I am using this process as a litmus test effectively for whether further processes should be initiated or not.

Process update

As for today I'm currently temporarily suspending the Request for Feedback process, I need to setup Stage 3 but I've been lumbered with medical nonsense recently so need to focus on more important things temporarily. I need to cross-reference the participants to avoid repeat pinging and haven't got the time for that right now simply put. Maybe tomorrow though time permitting. The summary for Stage 1&2 can otherwise be found in OP, effectively it can be aggregated as: not interested, can't verify, and no it's not. Clearly it's inconclusive and lacks any affirmative support whatsoever: this is coming from the entirety of feedback from members who support Vod's feedback which makes it all the more concerning.

Overall my intention was to make this as fair and relevant for Vod as possible, so focusing initially on those who trust his judgement, and the judgement of those he trusts. But if the assumption is I'm wasting my time then it's possible more of a free-for-all DT-based feedback for future stages may be more appropriate in order to cut to the chase as it were. Last I checked I don't think I owe this guy anything, so I don't believe I owe such a courtesy anymore either (based on his irrelevant comment made in this process at least). Maybe I'll even consider Stage 3 as retrosepectively more of an ad-lib stage for feedback over the process itself, since it's new and DT members aren't familiar with how it works, nor necessarily how it's going to evolve.

What stage? I saw some stage stuff on the first page now mentioned it but I have no idea what they are about and I am not sure I want to find out.

I just felt like dropping a comment and that’s it. I don’t think anybody cares about your stages and whatever meaning they have.

Overall my intention was to make this as fair and relevant for Vod as possible

This is why I called you a liar.  You care about me now?

I don't respect people who protect perverts.   You don't need to do anything for me, sir.

Edit: Before you perjure yourself with more contradictions, remember your forum sent me an email for each PM, including the one on Sun, 8 Sept 2024, 04:48 where you gave me permission to use OgNasty's real name. But now you claim I "doxxed" him?

Hi there! You've been invited to participate in this Request for Feedback (RfF), hence the pings. Due to the inconclusive feedback in Stage 1 & 2, this is currently Stage 3 of the process in order to determine the following question:

RfF Question: Is this an appropriate use of red trust?

Suggested answers, if preferred not to elaborate:
  • Yes
  • No
  • Not interested
  • Not sure / phone a friend
  • Your answer here

Feedback so far from Stage 1 & 2 based on Vod's DT1 sponsors:

There is also some bonus material at the bottom regarding the neutral tag and doxxing evidence should that tickle your interest  Smiley

DT voting class as of last weeks data (excluding members who were pinged as part of Stage 1 & 2 + Vod who can't vote for himself).

Edit: Before you perjure yourself with more contradictions, remember your forum sent me an email for each PM, including the one on Sun, 8 Sept 2024, 04:48 where you gave me permission to use OgNasty's real name. But now you claim I "doxxed" him?

And of course, these type of personal PMs...
Quote from: altcointalks_admin
i am really sorry to hear all the health and personal issues your fight with oggy caused you.

I couldn't care less what the admin thinks about this or previous communication with you, as he doesn't determine forum policy. He is literally just "the tech guy", a guy who knows little to nothing about forum politics and drama over here Roll Eyes

You might have been given permission for doxxing by the wrong person in the past, and if so, that permission has since been revoked. Hope that helps clarify things for you. But your doxx of OgNasty and request for personal info on theymos a day prior to that alleged PM (September 07, 2024, 01:01:01 AM) still remains on there, as the policy wasn't implemented retrospectively it seems. Based on the time-frame, I'm guessing it's to do with that. I won't link directly, but it was your first post on there that was since moved to the trash bin so easy to locate.

So looks like it's not just me who can prove that yes you have indeed doxxed, but instead anyone with an account there (fyi trash bin is hidden from public view). So that includes lawyers who sign up to the forum in order to verify it, oopsy daisy Wink

Here's a redacted version, just to provide some context for others. I hope this eliminates any doubt over whether Vod would doxx a member of this community on another forum, or request personal info on another:

Note: I'm aware theymos' real name has been posted on here since 2011, I just don't feel the need to share that here as serves no value.

Bonus question: Do you guys still think Vod is fit for DT after pulling a similar stunt on this forum in 2019 ? Unlike last time, Vod is now doubling down on his doxxing. My opinion is that this is shocking behaviour from a DT member and nothing more than retaliatory feedback. Update: since y'all have been pinged already, I just learnt that Vod has also left negative trust for theymos as well now:

But here you are, blaming me for something you said I could do.  :/

Here's a redacted version, just to provide some context for others.

RfF Question: Is this an appropriate use of red trust?

Since you bothered pinging 100 forum members, my answer is No, its not appropriate use of red trust. The author doesn't bother trying to tie it to any kind of trade-related context, which suggests its purely a punitive rating over a disagreement about how something is handled somewhere off-forum.

I've already had Vod excluded for a long time, and now I've offered my piece, so I'm bowing out from the rest of this conversation.

The tag should be neutral at best. We see so many cases of personal feelings getting in the way of appropriate tags. I said the same thing in the holydarkness/Rating Place situation in which no tags were changed. People get caught up in their personal feelings too often.

@nutildah sorry for for crude cutting, trying to provide equal weight to feedback based on character limits rather than my own personal view. Needless to say, anyone can click the link to read the rest...

I think neutral would fit well in this case as well. But I don't have all information which was "censored" (or not)

I do not consider dragonvslinux dishonest or "high-risk to trade".

As a side note: as our community grows and expand to other forums, things we do in one forum will reflect in the others.

I agree with the reputation part 100%. If you scam here you have fucked yourself for anywhere else that I see your name long as it can be linked to the original place you scammed. Altcoins lets you teleport so you are 100% the same account from here if you scam.
