Their community did not expect this because they've been running their platform for over a decade, so they don't believe that a decades-old project will not do a rug pull, because they can.

It was easy to expect that considering how much social media algorithms has been developped through 10 years. Addmefast run because it was easy to add fake views and followers accross social media platforms. In simple words, it exploited a lack in the system that has been later fixed and the algorithms started detecting fake activities. This was the end point of all social media boost services at that time.

Addmefast started a rug pull instead of developing their tools or move to another activity. This reminds me of freebitco faucet which has changed to be a casino after the faucet era started vanishing. Unfortunetly they turned to be a scam casino later.
