The "angry"ness of the people is not that he is a trillionaire, because lets face it he is not a trillionaire, he doesn't have the power to do anything with a trillion dollars. Instead, "what he owns is estimated to worth more than a trillion by the public" is the real answer.

Remember, while this was not now, only a few years ago, when he wanted to buy twitter, he had to pay 40+ billion, and he did not have a single cent to go towards that, he literally took out loans and got other investors join it, to do that. This was not because "it's smart movement", but because he literally did not had that kind of money.

So the people are mad because we give people with fake money, the power to do anything for real money. He doesn't have any real money, but he can show some papers that people think that has value, as collateral, and then get a huge loan, to buy whatever he wants. I can say my house worths a billion, and ask for 100 million in loans, would they give it to me? No, because they think my house doesn't worth that much. So Elon is only rich on paper and this makes him richer by the day while real workers can't do the same method.

I haven't done reaseach about Elon musk to see where he is coming from, how he has invested but for him to get to this level of weakth i believe he has done what nobody has been able to do. One thing about human they will always question your wealth.  The little knowledge i have about elon musk, his investment and how much he has worked he deserves to be the richest man on earth and he owes nobody any explanations or returns for who he is right now.

Since the news of Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire came out, I've been seeing a lot of reaction of twitter that I can't understand. Why are people angry with him? Some people are even asking why one man can have that much money while others don't have food to eat. Some are asking why one man can have that much money, and health care is not free, and so many other questions. Don't you people feel that is an entitlement mindset? He did not give birth to you, and he is not responsible for you, so why do people expect him to provide food for everybody and free health care? When has the world worked like that?

I have seen no one so far, or maybe my feed is not that bad haha. But if people are really saying he should do something like give back to the community, then as far as I know, the shareholders and buyers of his company's stock are going to get something back in the long run, if not in the short term.

But if people demand to get something for free, that's just their nature. You show them money and they start asking for it. Typical human behavior. Some people can't digest someone else's progress. Making money can't be his only goal because, with the way he is progressing in technology and all that, he is going to go big, even higher than $1 trillion.

Although I saw one post on X where a person said that if Elon gave him the extra $0.18T, since he has around $1.68T in worth, his life would change, and that money is enough to change the lives of millions of families.

But he does not have to think like that. At the same time, nobody is stopping him either.

Its a non story, I'd be more annoyed at the attempt to discuss a non issue.  He doesn't readily have that cash available, he just owns a share of which only part is actually tradable.   Nobody is buying that entire company from him and only a tiny amount of shares are listed so the whole trillion story is a theoretical extrapolation.
   To get his full share award he has to house a million people on Mars as I understand it, I really doubt that's even happening this century and not likely while I'm still alive or Elon is still around but funny he actually got that into a contract.

Why are people blaming a person for the lack of jobs and health care instead of blaming the government they elected into office to provide these things? I'm not even a fan of Elon Musk; I disagree with a lot of his views, but I just cannot understand these reactions. And it's not just from Americans. African, Europeans, and Asians are all saying the same thing. I've seen a lot of very dumb reactions, and I like to know why people feel this way. I've even seen millionaires complain about a person being a trillionaire. How does it make sense?

Someone feeling jealous, and a group of jealous people coming together, does not change the fact that they are jealous enough to say this out loud. Their words combined do not change anything and won't force anyone to do anything. He is not taking that money from these guys, and it is not like he could cash out that amount in one go that easily.

He has built an empire like Lord Vader haha. That can't be destroyed. Each time he fails, he succeeds too. He has made history. There was a time when we were told stories about Elon by our elders, that there is this Elon, the richest person on Earth after Bill Gates at that time, and he is doing crazy stuff.

Now he has made history again, and the kind of work he is doing is appreciable because no matter how much you criticize him just to make yourself feel better, the truth won't stay hidden.

I can say my house worths a billion, and ask for 100 million in loans, would they give it to me? No, because they think my house doesn't worth that much.

They wouldn't give you the loan because your house is not worth billions, not because they think it isn't. The bank can easily value your house to be worth what it is. You do not give value to your property, there are factors that determine its value.

So Elon is only rich on paper and this makes him richer by the day while real workers can't do the same method.

Do you expect any smart person to hodl their wealth in fiat or better still withdraw it and hodl cash in their homes, so you'd be able to call it "real money". If you hodl bitcoin and the price of bitcoin increases, your networth increases, even though you have not sold, it is paper profits. That is how the wealthy grow wealth, they hodl stocks and other investments worth billions and they aren't going to liquidate any of it to invest in something else; they'd rather borrow against their assets.

I am not a fan of Elon Musk too, but I don't hate him for who he is. Despite of his controversial public statements and aggressive management style, I have this part of me thinks that he's an incredible person. He's smart and wise, and has a lot of brilliant ideas navigating life and business. And this made me think why people hate him, because of ENVY.

People cannot accept the fact that Elon Musk is better than them. That is why they never stop throwing bad images to him, but in the end its Elon that becomes more profitable and wealthy today, while leaving these people still rot in poverty.

Let's just say jealousy is real when one person gets ahead of the others. People cannot stop themselves from having an evil eye to the one who often get successful and profitable in his life's journey. That's how the world we live in, so accept it or not, people are not happy with other person's success and life's achievements.

Elon Musk is nothing but a great person taking risk in his life to achieve what he's currently enjoying in his life. He pay the price of all his life's achievements, unfortunately some people do not realize this, but still resort into thinking that Elon is dumb and has no good reputation built in his life.

Those people are maybe frustrated with how their government worked. High taxes, hyper inflation, failing health care system, and other things that could make the daily lives harder, despite of the hard work they deliver. They tend to vent out their frustrations over to the rich people. We all know Elon has zero responsibility with the poor struggling people in the society, but he have charities, and it's not even mandatory.
I think these people who got angry with Elon and other rich people for the wealth they have, are the same people who have tons of life related complaints but don't want to work hard.

Those who are criticising him on different platforms should channel their anger to the government. Elon Musk is not responsible for the poverty or underdevelopment they are facing. If politicians are creative and innovative like Elon, they will be able to utilise the mineral resources in the country most profitably.

Instead of envying someone for making more money, people should focus on devising means of also getting more streams of income. Talking down on someone because of their wealth is useless.
