If you are someone who believe that they are not so smart around Linux like myself it's better to avoid Linux OS all together, some are stronger than the other but that's not even why I am talking about this.

Some people are just too dumb to handle Linux OS especially those with advanced distros, you installing new things that comes your way can get you malware still.

Some time ( not too long ago ) Red hat had an incident whereby Devs are losing their credentials, I don't know if anyone else noticed this incident?

While some people will say that AUR is not the main Arch packages respiratory ( maintained packages) there are so many users who can't even tell the difference.

Attacks and malwares are possible on Linux OS, make sure you understand what you are getting into, this is the only way that you can protect yourself and also every crypto wallets you stored on any Linux OS, atleast understand what you are entrusting your trust to.

Something that's made from scratch for one purpose only ( like hardware wallets ) is always better than something that was made from scratch for many things.

Your informations are of importance because it is not expected that we go for what we don't know much about, so that we can ask our best ability avoid every form of attack that may be targeted on us along the process, but when we fail to understand what is at stake or required of us to do, abuse become inevitable and we may easily fall the hands of this scammers and the introduced to us malwares.

The problem always lies in usage. Windows users download pirated copies to avoid activating Windows or purchasing certain applications. If they were to do the same with Linux, not much would change.

Some Linux distributions are similar to Windows, and if you want to use Windows, you should avoid clicking on or downloading untrusted applications.

Makes sense. Installing applications on a Linux distro can sometimes be tricky as we need to have certain packages for an app to get installed.
In the process of installing those required packages we might get tricked into installing something that might cause trouble to us in the future.
It's always required for us to know what all packages we are installing and what each one do before installing them.
If we are not following this practice then we are to be blamed for our own losses.
