Why Pearl? Pearl is a Layer-1 chain built around
Proof-of-Useful-Work: every block submitted to the network contains a Plonky2 zero-knowledge proof that the miner performed a real chunk of GEMM (general matrix
multiplication) — the same arithmetic that powers ML inference. Instead of burning hashes on collision puzzles, miners do work that has external utility. The MoE (Mixture-of-Experts) hard fork activated on
mainnet on 2026-06-12.
Pool features - 0% pool fee during the launch promo. We use a fee-mode called tx-fees-only: miners get 100% of the chain subsidy on every block (≈ 2,600+ PRL today); the pool keeps the transaction-fee tip only
