I think most investors lose in crypto due to impatience and a lack of risk-management knowledge, which I have experienced throughout my long crypto journey. I have lost a lot in trading due to impatience. I cannot hold any coin for long, even if I sell it at a loss; my patience is very low. I think trading is a test of patience; the one who can hold in the long term is the winner in the end. Another big reason is risk management for loss in crypto. Any new investors are unable to analyse coins properly.

Its usual habit from many people when trading or investing in cryptocurrency have mindset quick way to earn much profit lack patience waiting the progress of bitcoin or crypto assets price growing up, hurry up position when investing without make analyst surely at the right moment to buy or not and then speculation with much profit and quick way to earn.
Lack patience in trading not really good and bad habit, difficult to be success without have patience waiting for bitcoin when the moment have to buy or to sell, must understand well handle cryptocurrency for investment assets from the moment to buy, how long have to hold and most important about how much target profit earn to sell. Don't be greedy if investment assets have increasing much and have moment bitcoin or crypto coin at downtrend or uptrend moment.
Usually anyone who newly joins trading or cryptos for instance, they would have this very basic mindset that they can quickly make some profit and exit. They only assume this because they have seen a few examples in the past. A handful of people have really made a fortune in the past just within a small time interval so that makes others think they can do the same. Well, the chances of winning are less than 1% so I would never risk money on this low chances of winning. I would hesitate even if there is a 50-50 chance of winning. We should not stop these people actually because they would shortly gain experience only after they make mistake or once they lose funds. Without loss, they would never take it seriously. Sometimes, we should let our experience teach us.

Some people seem to excel because they're good at trading or that they are good at technical analysis or that they are good at digging into information and doing their own research. Others benefit more from patience, discipline, risk management, or simply knowing when to stay out of the market.
To be successful in crypto, a person needs to have knowledge about various things. If he cannot acquire that knowledge, then it will be difficult to succeed in this area. An investor must know the things you mentioned. If someone wants to be successful, he must go through a lot of experience. But among the mentioned things, patience and discipline are very important. Everyone who has held Bitcoin for a long time through patience and discipline has benefited. There are some people who had good technical skills, could do market research well, but they did not have patience and failed to hold their Bitcoin before reaching the set goal. That is why this quality is especially important to me in the crypto space.

One thing I've noticed is that people don't all reach the same results in crypto for the same reasons.
Some people seem to excel because they're good at trading or that they are good at technical analysis or that they are good at digging into information and doing their own research. Others benefit more from patience, discipline, risk management, or simply knowing when to stay out of the market.
Looking back on your own journey, if you had to choose one skill that has made the biggest difference for you, what would it be?
I'm not asking what sounds best on paper, but what has genuinely had the biggest impact on your decisions and outcomes. i know it is likely not always the trading and technical skill that gives you all the positives you have had in crypto right?
The biggest problem is that you can’t impress crypto trading, while you are trying to use the knowledge you have to trade you will lose money regardless of your strategies and your risk management when market become really bad for traders; but if the market is going in favor of traders, even if you don’t have good fundamentals skills on trading, you will make profit from trading because every prediction might work in your favor. However, having skills like computer science skills should help because you will understand everything and might be able to do the analysis better and if proper risk management is put in place, you will make good profit.

Buying and selling is a skill which is not common in people and people have other skills and they have no skill when to buy and when to sell the tokens at perfect time . Many people are taking money from other people and they are trading online but they are losing money and they are saying to people they are trading and in the best month they will return their money. Many people are in depression because they lose most of the money in trading and after that they thought they will save the Bitcoin and will invest for long term but they have ni patience. If you are a trader ,you have many changes and when you will buy low price you are in profit at any time and when you buy at high price you are in loss.

All that you mentioned OP were actually contributors to my good times of selling. Not a day trader when I was selling but I've bought it as an investor and did the DCA.
Patience is underrated and people are impatience when it's about taking profits.
They think that money just grows overnight in the crypto market but it doesn't. It's a requirement and a must of every holder to have it together with discipline because there are times that we get greedy.

What you have mentioned here are all significant to crypto success, but I think the most essential one is having that risk management that cannot be ignored in every action or decision you will take when trading. Discipline and patience will certainly follow in time, but if you don't have risk management from the very beginning, your trading journey will not be successful like how you imagined it to be in the end.
Risk management is very important for every trader to have, there are things that you having a good sense of risk management is going to help you achieve that other skills can't, traders are losing money mostly because they did not have good risk management training but if you have this skill it will help you to avoid losses. Most traders are scared of exiting the market when they are losing but you having a good risk management will help you to exit the market despite if you are winning or losing because you understand that it is better to lose small than to lose all your capital in the market. There is no trader that is good at trading that does not have a stop loss in its trade but many traders that have no idea of what they are doing trade without stop loss at this contributes to their high number of losses. Risk management has it's benefits and disadvantage because you can be kicked out of the market before the market starts recovering but since you have already left the market, you would not benefit from the recovery of the market and that can be very sad as a trader.

There are many investors who can spot a good deal, but the emotions of fear and greed can get in the way and cause them to make a wrong investment. It's the discipline to stick to a plan when the markets are choppy that makes the difference between successful investors and those who are constantly picking the bottom and top of the market. While risk management is important, no strategy can be successful without patience and discipline. In my opinion these are the attributes that assist investors in minimizing their negative reactions to the ups and downs of the market.

Because in your title is in the crypto world then the scope will be very wide in this discussion not only in trading, I prefer to have a lot of expertise in programming in many programming languages this will be very helpful to achieve success than trading, because like the survey that has been done a lot only a few successful from trading who managed to achieve success. Trading for me now only as an option to find a side income, because my trading journey is not so positive if in focus.

While all those are good things in crypto, the key to success has been – and will be – patience and discipline. True, the long term success will depend a lot on the investor's patience and discipline. Patience is tested when the market is in haywire and the person is able to maintain calm and place the effective order at the proper time. Discipline is tested in many levels. One of them is keeping yourself content in a limited number of assets and trading methods. Going too much into altcoins is a bad sign and going into non-spot trading modes is also a bad sign. There are many skills needed of a trader to be a good one. Start with the basics, be disciplined and limit your types of assets and you should start good.

Many people have had similar experiences to yours. And indeed, in trading and investing, patience is the most important quality we must possess once we’ve also equipped ourselves with sufficient knowledge. Or rather, patience is actually cultivated even before we begin trading itself, such as when we decide to seek deeper insights into market analysis and the like. Because, fundamentally, only those who lack patience enter the market without sufficient knowledge. They’re too hasty, and well, that doesn’t reflect good trading practices. Even learning from experience must be grounded in a solid foundation of knowledge so we can properly evaluate each experience we have. When it comes to holding coins patiently, the key actually lies in how focused you are on trading. If you treat trading merely as a side hustle outside of your work hours, holding a coin actually becomes easier. That’s because when we’re working, we sometimes forget about the crypto market. But for those who, say, have enough free time to monitor the market, well, maintaining that patience can sometimes be difficult.

I think I dangle between, "knowing when to stay out and patience". Though not in totality and I don't think they've done much for me. Crypto is a funny industry. When you want to stay out, sometimes it goes against you as you soon find out that those who invested actually profited from it with mouth watering ROI. Sometimes you rush in, you get burnt. Besides those two I mentioned, I believe I would've been doing better if I started with knowing how to do onchain analysis and be able to track whale wallets and their early accumulations. That's the best way to go about getting into projects early enough to position better. Regular research isn't enough.

I would say patients and discipline, which falls under the umbrella of HODL. As far as risk management and knowing when to stay out of the market, take profit when the market is high- if one wishes and buy when the market is trending downward, DCA is a good tool.

Looking back on your own journey, if you had to choose one skill that has made the biggest difference for you, what would it be? Holding bitcoin has been what that helped me the most, which is not what I consider as a skill because it is very easy and not time consuming to invest in bitcoin. maybe you don't consider holding as a skill but truly it is because it requires alot o patience and dedication which truly you will agree with me that, patience is a virtue and not everyone posses it because if everyone does, holding would have been easy and if holding was to be easy, everyone would have been holding by now which they're not, so that alone makes holding a skill. I would say patients and discipline, which falls under the umbrella of HODL. As far as risk management and knowing when to stay out of the market, take profit when the market is high- if one wishes and buy when the market is trending downward, DCA is a good tool.
Anyone who has all these skills you mentioned above should be referred to as a guru in the industry because those skills you mentioned are all what anyone needs to be successful in the industry.

The skill that has made the difference is knowing when to sit with hands on hands and stay completely out of the market. When most people start, including me, I was convinced that success in this firm is guaranteed by mastering Technical indicators and by jumping into any opportunity. Someone can be an absolute genius at fundamental research and charting, but if you are not relaxed psychologically, you are chopped and will bleed your capital. We should learn that sometimes doing nothing is a good, profitable strategy. We need to learn when to enter the market and when to prevent fakr hypes and completely be out of FOMO.

I'm still far from successful in trading, but so far my trading journey has been improving. From my evaluation, the biggest contributors to my success in achieving profits or avoiding major losses are patience and responsibility. As we know, trading is very risky and prone to emotional turmoil when you experience losses you can't afford. I always strive to remain patient in waiting for the right moment and accept the consequences responsibly. These two things have made me much calmer mentally and psychologically.

at the end of the day, all those chart patterns and technical edges are just bugs that get wiped out the second the market actually goes wild. doesn't matter how tight your logic is if you let emotions mess up your sizing or hold a bag cuz u can't take a loss.
like everyone who actually survives keeps saying, discipline to just dca or literally do nothing (and stay off the charts) beats flashy trading any day. feeling that same truth while building out my own systems and code—cutting out the noise and letting automation run is just way more efficient.

Patience is certainly necessary, bro, but this idea of the one who can hold on for the long term is the winner at the end of the day often creates the biggest trap in trading. Sitting patiently for Bitcoin may work, but in regular trading or altcoins, blind patience can completely destroy a person. Most traders are actually afraid of accepting losses and force bad trades to become 'long term investments' and hold on to dead coins for years. Real risk management in crypto is not about holding on forever, but rather about understanding your mistakes and cutting your stop losses in small losses in time to save your capital. To survive it is more important to exit the wrong trade quickly and keep cash funds on hand for the next opportunity.

One skill can't be sustainable enough to profer you success in your trading journeys because, several necessary factors such that dangles around risk management's is very much crucial to adhere to because alongside you should know when to opt out and learn how to avoid fallen victims of greeds but to control your emotions from not making regret able decisions. The technical knowledge with the ability to read volatility and catches the points at your prediction is one skill that can't be undermined as it's one of the most important skill which every traders must portray. Perhaps you don't treat the bitcoin or crypto trading like it's one of those predictions markets you could just guess as a game or event without technical analysis.

One of the skills that has really helped me to succeed and make profit in cryptocurrency is being patient and consistent. Being patient and consistent has really helped me to accumulate very good amount of bitcoin, since I started bitcoin investment, I have been very consistent in accumulating bitcoin and I have been patient in holding it also, a lot of people has failed in cryptocurrency because they are not patient and consistent.
I’m sure that a lot of people agree with me that patience are consistency is what is needed if you want to grow in crypto or let’s say bitcoin investment, even if you are trading you need to be patient and consistent if you really want to succeed.
