Is it something that makes sense to you?

Yeah it makes sense because peoples now a days are trying to turn every little event into a betting opportunity and betting on the timing of a hydration break is just another example as you mentioned in the post. What i am thinking is obviously luck factor works in gambling but more or less there is also some small percentage of prediction chances as well especially in sports gambling but this type of betting is 100 percent dependent on luck because in the game  the referee usually takes the break around a specific minute or the actual stoppage can only happen when the ball goes out of play. That depends on random events during the match such as throw ins or fouls and also corners or even goal kicks.

This is another betting topic. How many goals will be scored in a match, how many corners will be taken, how many fouls will be committed, how many players will get yellow cards, whether anyone will get a red card or how many goals will be scored in total, who will score in what minutes, there are also many other betting tools where gamblers can bet, but betting on when and for how long a hydration break will be given during a game is really crazy. Since I am not that much of a gambler, I will not even try to gamble on a place where I will not be satisfied with my gambling.

Yeah, I know that people can bet on anything, but I never thought that people could consider betting on a hydration break.

Honestly speaking, I have been following a few football games and had never heard of or seen anything like a hydration break until just recently during a FIFA World Cup match. It still surprises me the extent to which gamblers and bookmakers can go to exploit any event in order to make money from it. It goes to show that there are lots of opportunities in the gambling market; you just have to search well and settle for the one you are comfortable with.

But for me it's not convenient of the many options we have to bet on a match in this world cup, why does it have to be a drink break? I think it's more exciting when we can predict how many times the referee blows the whistle.
Sometimes people think that many options are good but too many is not a good thing to gamble, like you go to the store and there is only coffee and tea, you only have to choose one of them, but when there are many options you have to think more and ask yourself what you want to drink.

It makes sense.
In this time were betting on anything is increasing, it comes as no surprise at all.
This is something that I think I will see more of on prediction markets. Because it is predicting when the whistle will be blown for the hydration break.
In the future world cup games, I will not be surprise if people start betting on a particular feature with regards to the AI cam that the referees now have on.

It is just all for fun, but the truth remains the fact that casinos and also prediction sites would take advantage of it as long as it would generate revenue or profit for them, and mostly, if the community participates in such a prediction, and the traffic for that exact prediction is on the rise while being in demand. Hehehehe "extra minutes break" indeed, and I would not doubt the fact because FIFA can do anything just to make such players get time enough to play their way to victory, most especially their favorite teams. But I do not think they would in any way extend the normal football time above 90 minutes. However, extra time now sits in, and it sometimes takes up to 10 minutes of time before the refs blow the final whistle for a game to be over for the players. This can be the only means by which such a time extension can come in, as I do not think FIFA would want to go against the old football time tradition.

There are two hydration breaks in the match this is to allow players refresh against the hot weather, they drink water and get a cool towel bath a quick one though because the break is usually short, this breaks happens in both half and it’s usually within 22 minutes atleast when the ball goes out and in the second half it is around 67th minutes same as the first till when the ball goes out and. So because the ball has to be out of the pitch before the hydration break people are betting on it. Is it something that makes sense to you?

The bet on the hydration break doesn't really makes sense to me especially as it has to do with predicting the exact time when the referee has to give the signal before the players could go and hydrate before getting back to the pitch.
For me, its just another means for the betting companies to further exploit or take advantage of their customers, but am not surprised any because these betting outlets always come up with new odds just to try to attract bettors and somehow it always works perfectly for them at the end of the day, I think I would rather stick to the usual options am used to rather than indulge in such an unrealistic option as hydration break time.

Yes, you're right when you Said that it's another means for the betting companies to take advantage of thier customer. Of course they know that some gamblers are so naive to a point where they go for whatever thing that is newly introduced without even giving it a second thought, personally I don't know if new options are being introduced or not, all I know is those regular options I have been betting from the onset and I feel that they are more reliable than those ones they are introducing now. It's obvious that they are trying to get our minds off from those regular options they know we can easily win from them.
