For a very long time now, over several centuries, Africa has been one of the biggest suppliers of mineral resources the world depends on..   Speaking of gold, Agric produce (like cocoa), diamonds, cobalt, copper, iron ore, to oil and gas, a lot of what powers industries in both Europe, America and even Asia comes from African soil.. 
Many of the technologies we use today, like batteries, smartphones, cars, and so on rely heavily on minerals that are either mined or sourced from Africa..

So many industries around the world rely heavily on these resources, because it help them keep their production going and also their economies moving.. If access to them is suddenly cut off, a whole lot of global supply chains will feel it instantly, and most of them will even struggle to keep up..

So the question is simply: CAN THE WORLD SURVIVE WITHOUT AFRICA?

Because with the look of how things are connected today and has been going for years, it is so clear that Africa is not just part of the system, but rather,  it is a major foundation holding a very large part of it together..

Thats it, the damage was done to Africa when European countries like the United Kingdom,
Netherlands, Belgium and Germany stamped their authority there and plundered and carved

Yes, that's broadly stated in the OP. I mean, how much demand is there actually?
There will probably be different levels of hardship in each country when Africa stops producing minerals. Because not all countries are major importers of African minerals.

On the other hand, I imagine (not referring to Africa), if the Earth's mineral reserves were cut by 50% millions of years ago, humans would still have developed a different version of civilization.

The question you have to ask yourself is has the world not been moving forward without Africa from the inception of time. The world has been moving on without the help of Africa. I think that the first sets of adventurers had contact with African in the 15 to 16 century which culminated in the sharing of Africa in the 1885. Before now the world has been moving developing without Africa so the equation is that the world will continue to move without Africa.

The stats you shared are really important for the world. Their cobalt is used for lithium-ion batteries, and we all know how important these batteries are. Without them, a lot of operations would not survive electricity lockdowns during wars or other geopolitical stress situations.

I can't overlook the importance of Africa now. Their manganese and chromium are important for stainless steel. Without stainless steel, global construction, aerospace, and defense industries could freeze. Although defense industries might use other materials as well, this is still a primary material.

Even phosphorus, of which around 70% exists in Morocco, helps in agricultural fertilizers. Without this phosphate, crops worldwide would plummet as well.

Microchips, batteries, and related industries could affect Silicon Valley, while shortages of food and industrial materials could create wider problems. These are basic human needs.

Sad reality, haven't had up to 30% of mineral resources coming from them, still they can't utilize all of them to their advantage to make their country a great nation without exporting them overseas to make some other things out of them.

Just for instance, there are countries that rely on gas to produce electricity, but solar energy and hydro can replace gas. People will always look for other things to survive.

If the world try to be independent without Africa now the economic growth of such contenent will slow because the raw Materials from other contenent will not be enough to produced materials that will be sustainable to the world. Just like big industry needed crude oil to refine and produce petrol for generator, car and motorcycle consuptiom and other form of machine that consumes petrol. But today there are a lot improvement that make it easy to use many solar powered devices, which makes petrol reduce in it consumption and demand. And it's important because it reduce noise and environmental pollution. This makes it easy for people to feel comfortable without using crude oils or petrol. Now the dependency of one African product has reduced it value. And over time a lot of discoveries will be made and most item may not be tmvaluable anymore. But for now they completely need Africa to survive.

But also seeing the from a different angle, and also judging from the word you used “ease”… Humans has currently built a world that can’t survive without all of this things anymore.. Corruption they say is the bedrock of underdevelopment and others of its kinds. Africa is one continent blessed with numerous mineral resources that can keep them independent but because of the existence of corrupt leaders all there resources that is supposed to serve as a stepping stone to success is now giving out to others in exchange of peanuts that won't be enough for anything. I would say if Africa could stand and manage there resources it will be very difficult for most nations to experience a balanced economy.
