What are the effects of inflation on ordinary people

The effects of inflation is not just on ordinary people, why they seem to be affected the most is just because they don't have multiple streams of income to provide every of their needs, meanwhile the rich person has different income source or is making a huge amount that will not stop them from providing for their needs, as the purchasing power of the money depreciate, they have more to spend and they are earning more too. That's why they say no matter the economy, the rich get richer.

There is a lot to be discussed in this subject, but everything is pretty obvious and known by every single person. We all know that the only people who get affected by inflation are the ordinary people who are either employed and earn an average income, or those who do physical labour for daily or hourly wages which doesn't make them enough money to actually get through a month and in top of that, when inflation keeps increasing rapidly, their problems will surely only increase over time since they are not making more money, but they now require more money for the same things.

Those who are blessed with financial freedom, who earn more than enough and have savings and keep saving more money every month because they cover everything and still have money left, such people will surely not get affected by inflation, because they are already earning more money than they need, so even if the prices of goods and services increase a little bit, they won't have any problems because they will still be able to afford them without any problems.

Inflation is what many people always complain about, but people are surviving with it. The rich people will still become richer if there is inflation. Average people will still also see their ways around after inflation. Even if there is no inflation, many people that are poor will remain poor, not because of the inflation, but because they are poor. Only what I know that is very important is that wise people will found their away around and still live a very good life with or without inflation.

Down here in my country, it was before that we have average people but currently, majority of average people have become poor due to the high level of inflation.

Inflation only favors the rich because they will definitely, increase the price of whatever, services their company are offering. The poor are the ones that suffers inflation from generation to generation.

The people that suffer most as a result of inflation are thw workers that depend on salary. This is because salaries are hardly reviewed to cover the inflation that affects the prices of things and diminishes the buying power of the salary.  Those that own businesses or running contract are not affected much because when inflation hits, they simply raise the prices of their goods and services to cover the effect of the inflation.  They practically get richer during inflation whole workers get poorer just as it is happening now in my country.

Yes. When inflation occurs the poor and middle class are the ones most affected as they spend the most on basic necessities, including transportation. When prices rise they immediately feel the pain especially workers who rely on salaries. Prices rise but salaries don't usually rise that quickly. As a result daily expenses become more difficult and savings slowly diminish in value.

Inflation can be said to mean that our money becomes less powerful or our money becomes weak. I'd like to use what happens in my country, where inflation occurs every year. Two years ago, when I went to the market with IDR 100,000, I could buy 10 kg of rice, 1 kg of meat, cooking oil, eggs, etc. But now, because of inflation, with IDR 100,000, I can only buy 8 kg of rice, half a kg of meat and a little cooking oil. The same amount of money but fewer goods.

We have to fight inflation regularly, people have now become accustomed to inflation. Everyone has to face higher expenses due to inflation, but we all learn to adapt with time. But it is very difficult for the poor to adapt, especially for salaried employees. Even though inflation is increasing regularly, the salaries of employees do not increase, the wages of daily wage workers do not increase. As a result, they have to struggle the most with inflation. But the positive side is that they are able to adapt.

This is a dirty policy of the government, especially in corrupt countries. Political leaders create inflation in the country through defaults or money laundering, the result of which is suffered by the common people of the country. Since Bitcoin is the solution to that inflation, those leaders promote Bitcoin negatively. Because if people do not keep their money in the bank, their money laundering business will stop.

Due to severe erosion of purchasing power and depletion of savings, ordinary people will definitely face increased financial and psychological stress that could lead living their life meaningless. The reason why some who could not manage their struggles anymore would end up into suicidal. This is the worst effect, unfortunately the government has not done anything even increasing the minimum wages so that these poor people will also find means to cover up their expenses and still make ends meet.

The rich people may never even feel the inflation effect, but those who live in extreme poverty are definitely living life like hell just to survive everyday.

Inflation is a problem to the ordinary people, families who are not well to do and those who are low salary earners are the ones who suffer the most when inflation happens, because they have to cut down the cost of their living in order to fit in. If you are a low salary earner, and your salary remains the same while the cost of food, rent, and transportation rises, you will definitely be affected. And also, if inflation happens, people who are not well to do, will be force to cut down some high spending to a cheaper alternatives.

No doubt the inflation is increasing on daily basis, everyday the prices of everything is  changing the way people use to live daily. When the cost of basic needs like transportation and medical groceries goes up the families have to stretch the same income, That is making their budget tighter and even in some cases they have to cut off their daily life essentials, they have to delay the important  purchases. There are people who cannot work more to earn like pensioners all old age people or the low wage workers they are struggling very badly people are having financial stress they are relying on borrowing money from others so they can manage their expenses the living standards have reshaped because of this inflation every other person is struggling badly.

The effect really show when you are buying your usual snack and noticed it either shrink or the price is raised. It's getting bad when that happened many times a year like recently due to the oil becoming expensive that affects so many things in the market.

Worse if we had both worlds (shrink in contents but the cost have risen too at the same time) , but this is usually the case that occurs on most products now. All are affected on it, I mean literally because most rich were in fact strict too when it comes to budgeting or spending and this is why they achieve their current status. A true inflation is permanent but when there are issues about war and then some products like oil were affected ( become scarce and became expensive ) the effect of it to other items are temporary only and can return to normal once the root cause of the problem got sorted out.

You don't even need to look at the chart and compare your salary vs inflation to know that things aren't like it used to be, such as you can buy lesser things with fiat than a year ago. When you noticed this, you will wake up and want to hedge.

When we buy stuff, they have a price tag though. So yeah that upon that moment, we can easily realize how things have change. People can't help though but still compare and it was not the salary is what they compare but the ones that I always see is they pick up a certain amount like a dollar, or in crypto world, 1 BTC. Yet, not all are still hedging. But it can also be because they already lack on money to begin with.

Honestly salaries earners suffering most during inflation because I can said that out of the 100% of the salaries earners 70 percent suffer since is only few of them that have another ways of income, and that’s why it’s good if a someone is a salary earner should have any-other business doing.

Because depending on the salary alone will later be results of embarrassing during the inflation period, based on how foods stuffs will be expensive at times even if they collect the salary it will not solve their problems especially now that everything becomes so expensive unlike before but the richer don’t know what inflation is about since they don’t feel it all.

well when inflation hits, it does not select who it hits or not but sometimes the big guys are a little bit less influenced from it because they have the money to cope with the situation. this does not mean that they are completely not affected by the inflation. Those who to a large degree do have leverage regardless of the inflation are those in the government and this is for a single reason that most of them have privilege of tapping from the government through most of the things they enjoy. Some get their fuels for free, some get their daily food for free and so many other bonanza they get as a reward of them being in the government and that has continued to sustain them and to a large extent reduced how inflation hits them unlike those who may be rich but are only surviving through their businesses and private ventures.

Inflation is already part of the new normal. The higher the inflation is, the more people should never stop working hard and smart, otherwise inflation will eat us, I think that's the most unfortunate thing that people with severe disabilities will face, because even if they are willing to work, their disability will hinder it.

And unfortunately, while the cost of living constantly increasing, the rate of wages especially in local provinces do not even match and would hardly cater the increased prices of basic needs. It's never a problem for the rich individuals as they can always afford whatever the price is, but for poor people, inflation is a huge barrier to enjoy their simple living.
