■ ABOUT BYZE

BYZE is an independent Proof-of-Work blockchain derived from Bitcoin Core and designed with long-term security in mind.

The project combines the proven architecture of Bitcoin with modern post-quantum cryptography and CPU-friendly mining. Unlike traditional Bitcoin-derived networks, BYZE uses the RandomX mining algorithm and introduces mandatory quantum-resistant block signatures based on XMSS and SPHINCS+.

The goal of BYZE is to provide a decentralized blockchain that remains secure against both ASIC centralization and future quantum computing threats.

■ WHY BYZE?

Each valid block must contain:

XMSS Signature
SPHINCS+ Signature

Blocks lacking these signatures are rejected by consensus rules.

This dual-signature design provides an additional layer of protection against future advances in quantum computing.

BYZE replaces SHA-256 mining with RandomX.
